[ I 'm angry at myself that I did n't upgrade my goggles sooner! These are a great value at the price point with the extra- wide field of view( hello useful peripheries!) and two lenses. The everyday lens provided great shading and plenty of contrast against the snow. The cloudy- day lenses provided just enough contrast to not get wrecked while also being just dark enough to handle the brightness of a hazy grey day. Swapping the lenses was easy and took less than 5 min.

I have struggled with goggles and glasses that get pushed down my nose/face by my mountain bike and ski helmets because of my small( short and narrow) face, causing interference in sight and even breathing when they pinch my nostrils. These actually stay put and do n't interfere with the placement of my helmet and vice versa. They function great on bluebird days and in snowstorms, for inbound and BC skiing, with temperatures below zero and in higher humidity days. I 'd love to have S options for MTB goggles but for now, I 'm using these for ski as well for winter MTB riding. They are of the quality and style we 've come to expect from Smith.

I 've gone skiing and snowboarding in multiple conditions with them and they have never fogged and even if I 've taken a tumble, It's super easy to just shake the snow out, put them back on, and keep on shreddin'. My old pair of goggles always made me nervous because of the strap mechanism and plastic just felt cheap so taking any falls always worried me that I might not break them. Not these, the Axis goggles have a super solid construction from the strap, to the lens and frame as well. I have tried them with the compatible helmet as well and the fit is seamless which is so nice! Best feature by far of these goggles is that it comes with TWO lenses! One for sunny days and overcast/ night as well. This was one of the driving features that I was looking at for a goggle and this one totally fits the bill. The lens changing is also super simple and easy since it has magnets and stuff. I 've tried a few other goggles where you have to twist/ bend/ has moving parts to switch the lenses and that always made me nervous that I was going to break them. Not these! you just pull on the sides and it pops out, then line the magnets up on the new lens and make sure the corners are pushed into their housings. So simple and rad.

There was a small generation of fog/ condensation after I fell and it took a while to clear up, maybe 10 minutes. the lense pops off on the bottom on its own sometimes, not out of place where it can fall off but not completely locked in for sure. If I had a option to buy something else, I would buy this product again.

[ These goggles are absolutely awesome for the price! I got these at the start of the season and they have yet to disappoint me in any way. I 've gone skiing and snowboarding in multiple conditions with them and they have never fogged and even if I 've taken a tumble, It's super easy to just shake the snow out, put them back on, and keep on shreddin'. My old pair of goggles always made me nervous because of the strap mechanism and plastic just felt cheap so taking any falls always worried me that I might not break them. Not these, the Axis goggles have a super solid construction from the strap, to the lens and frame as well. I have tried them with the compatible helmet as well and the fit is seamless which is so nice! Best feature by far of these goggles is that it comes with TWO lenses! One for sunny days and overcast/ night as well. This was one of the driving features that I was looking at for a goggle and this one totally fits the bill. The lens changing is also super simple and easy since it has magnets and stuff. I 've tried a few other goggles where you have to twist/ bend/ has moving parts to switch the lenses and that always made me nervous that I was going to break them. Not these! you just pull on the sides and it pops out, then line the magnets up on the new lens and make sure the corners are pushed into their housings. So simple and rad.

[ Well made goggles at a reasonable price. They stay on your face, they block out the glare. Lens managed to resist fogging for most of the day in some pretty warm conditions.

[ I bought this to go with the marching Giro helmet, which looks terrific together. I used it 2 days prior to the end of my time on the slopes. They functioned great not problems with fit or feel. The vents on the underside really did the trick no build up of heat that I could feel on my face( It was a 40 degree day). There was a small generation of fog/ condensation after I fell and it took a while to clear up, maybe 10 minutes. the lense pops off on the bottom on its own sometimes, not out of place where it can fall off but not completely locked in for sure. If I had a option to buy something else, I would buy this product again.
