[ I used these all winter skiing Utah, and we had a cooooold one. Even with snow and fog, these Oakleys protect your face and eyes w the large lenses. And, they look freakakraka cool. I 'd recommend high visibility lenses, which vary independent of the outside color. Yellow is best, while the pink enhance snow contour, yes still give you some shading. I 've had both.
