I used a white rooster tail on my first trip fishing this year and caught 18 crappie in about 40 minutes. I used a yellow rooster tail on my second fishing trip and caught a nice crappie, a nice blue gill and two average size bass in 15 minutes. Both of them just went back into the tackle box after the fishing trip. I was happy enough that I just bought more colors to try plus another white and yellow. Great pan fish lure.

I live in the Pacific Northwest and I 've found the Mack's wedding Ring series of lures to be some of the most consistent lures for catching trout in both our streams spinning and in our mountain lakes while trolling. I 've caught 14 ''- 28 '' trout and steelhead using this lure alone or with nightcrawlers or eggs on the hook. They 're on of my Go- To lures.

The Wedding Ring trolled with a Berkley Red Wiggler Gulp worm for a tail is a killer. Troll it behind a christmas tree or lake troll rig about three feet and I promise you will catch trout when no one else is. You can also tip it with a couple of salmon eggs. We do n't get on the water without them.

It's hard to beat Panther Martins for a variety of applications: trout in the Sierras, panfish and small bass in ponds, etc. Perhaps no other lure is quite as versatile across so many platforms. They are n't cheap, but they 're well made. They run/spin true, and the hooks are sharp. Love 'em.

Being an amateur fisherman, I 'm always losing a spinner to a tree now and then, so, with the six pack being a better value then buying them individually, it's a good deal. They are good basic lures for trout and bass.

Best spinner on the market. Slower reel retrieve keeps the bait I the strike zone longer. Other spinners require a faster retrieve to keep it going.

The two stocked ponds in my region that have Brown Trout are being caught solely on this lure. The other spinners are not catching them. I presume it is the larger weight that keeps the lure low to the bottom where the larger trout are located. The yellow and gold color seems to be preferred by Brown Trout and they attack this lure with sheer aggression that compels me to think this is not all about hunger, but also the trout are territorial. This lure is catching Brown Trout throughout the day when live bait and other lures simply are not working. I also think this the unusual hook configuration with the treble hook off at the side and the treble hook wobbles and gyrates through the retrieve so it has more chance of getting a solid strike. Other spinners are getting hits and misses. I highly recommend this lure.

Walleye spinners are fishing lures designed to attract walleye by creating movement and flash in the water. They typically consist of a rotating blade that spins as the lure is retrieved, producing vibrations and reflections that mimic the appearance of prey. This action can entice walleye to strike, making them a popular choice among anglers targeting this species.
Walleye spinners are often made from a combination of durable metals and high-quality plastics. The blades are usually crafted from stainless steel or brass, which provides strength and resistance to corrosion. Additionally, the body of the spinner may feature vibrant colors and patterns to enhance visibility in various water conditions.
Walleye spinners can be effective year-round, but they are particularly popular during the spring and fall when walleye are more active. Early morning and late evening are also prime times for fishing, as walleye tend to feed more aggressively during these hours. Adjusting your retrieval speed and depth can help maximize success depending on the season.
Walleye spinners can be used effectively with various fishing techniques, including trolling, casting, and drifting. Trolling allows anglers to cover larger areas and find active fish, while casting can be effective in targeted spots. Drifting with a spinner can also entice walleye as the lure moves naturally with the current.
Selecting the right walleye spinner depends on factors such as water clarity, depth, and current strength. In clear water, spinners with more subtle colors may be effective, while brighter colors can attract fish in murky conditions. Additionally, heavier spinners are better for deeper waters or strong currents, while lighter options work well in shallower areas.
