These are the perfect shoe. Better than the Next Gen version, in my opinion. I used to think Antora 3 Mid was the most comfortable shoe I ’ ve ever owned before I got these. I love how versatile they are…they have the “ sport ” mode made famous by Crocs, but you can also put the strap between your heel and the molded back of the shoe, which is how I wear them to keep my ankles from chafing when I wear them barefoot. I am just learning what a difference good shoes make on a body after my PCP recommended I get more supportive footwear, and my quest for the perfect shoe finally can end. I am size 9. 5 and first tried the size 9. It was too short and my toes were falling out of the shoe. The width was perfect though. I then tried the 10 instead. [ I have several pairs of both Teva and Chaco( love hiking sandles) and I wanted something extra secure and durable for some hiking trips I have coming up. The only reason I am giving this 4 stars is because of the sizing issues. Most reviews I read said to size up if you are a half size. This is usually what I do with my Tevas( Usually an 8. 5, so I buy a 9.) That being said, with this specific shoe do not size up! I had to make the velcro straps on the back heels tight to fit and they hung off the sides quite a bit. I returned them and got an 8 and they fit perfectly with plenty of extra room to adjust as needed. Also I will say you do need to break these in more than other Teva sandles I have worn because of all the straps. I got a few blisters but now that I have had them for a few weeks, they are great! super secure and comfortable:)

I have to say, Reef sandals are hands down the comfiest sandals I 've ever owned. I used to wear Birkenstocks and thought they were great—until I tried Reefs. The cushioning on these is next- level, super soft but still supportive enough for walking around all day. One thing I really appreciate is that they ’ re perfect for wider feet. They give your toes room to breathe without feeling loose or floppy. Just a heads- up though—they do run a bit big, so you might want to size down if you ’ re between sizes. The fit was good except for the closure at the ankle. I broke k e of my ankles a long time ago and it is permanently swollen. I am unable to secure the start of one of the sandals. Apart from that they are great!
