I am size 9. 5 and first tried the size 9. It was too short and my toes were falling out of the shoe. The width was perfect though. I then tried the 10 instead. They are a good length, maybe a little bit too wide, so not perfect but better than the size 9. They are very comfortable. [ I have several pairs of both Teva and Chaco( love hiking sandles) and I wanted something extra secure and durable for some hiking trips I have coming up. The only reason I am giving this 4 stars is because of the sizing issues. Most reviews I read said to size up if you are a half size. This is usually what I do with my Tevas( Usually an 8. 5, so I buy a 9.) That being said, with this specific shoe do not size up! I had to make the velcro straps on the back heels tight to fit and they hung off the sides quite a bit. I returned them and got an 8 and they fit perfectly with plenty of extra room to adjust as needed. Also I will say you do need to break these in more than other Teva sandles I have worn because of all the straps. I got a few blisters but now that I have had them for a few weeks, they are great! super secure and comfortable:)
