[ This is the second time I have purchased these shorts. I finally wore out the first pair which I purchased 2 years ago. I know the shorts are designed for fishing and ocean- related stuff. Yes, I use them for everyday wear as well as for the sport I play which is Lawn Bowls. The side pocket is great for holding everything from my lip balm to my measure for bowls. The only thing I find that is not so good is the stitching along the bottom of front pockets had to be resewn as this just does n't seem to hold. Other than that This is a great pair of shorts.

These are great shorts for everyday wear and training. They are good for running too, but I like something a bit shorter, 5 ” or below is my preference. They ’ re very comfortable and lightweight, the pockets are a good size, the waistband is elastic without being too tight, and the drawstrings aren ’ t so long that they come out of the bottom of the shorts.
