I purchased this bag as a necessity for my commute to work. Having it gor 6+ months now, its done what its designed to do, mostly. I ride an ebike in to work for about 10 miles daily, and ive had it through fall and majority winter, and it is waterproof but not entirely, on the heavy rain days water will seep up through the bottom, luckily even though i do bring my charger along there is a nice pocket inside to store it. The size of the bag to the space it can provide is impressive. Overall, I 'd recommend purchasing this product and as a tip to any that may, put a rectangular protective item at the bottom to try and prevent moisture from getting in!

All I have to do is stuff the my sleeping bag in the Sea to Summit bag, tighten down and now it's half the size as before. It's super water resistant having used it on bikepacking trips in rain and mud my gear stayed bone dry inside. It's very durable meaning you can strap it right to your bike or whatever your needs may be without worry of wear and tear. The new style closure system with buckles on one side makes opening and closing super quick and efficient which is great for when you get to camp late. I 'll be picking up a few more in various sizes.

[ I have been using the dry bag for my sleeping bag for a little while now and I really like it. The compression is superior to the stuff sack my North Face One Bag came with so it takes up less room in my pack. It is also water resistant so I 'm able to keep my sleeping bag dry and therefore warm and safe. I then bought a larger bag to also keep a spare base layer in so I 'm always sleeping in the driest system possible. This spring has been vey wet so it's been extremely important I keep my gear dry. I feel confident hiking without a pack liner thanks to this dry bag. One tip I recommend is folding the opening back one fold as you store your contents as the lip of the bag has a tendency to bind on what you 're putting in the bag. Once I learned that I felt I was getting the maximum benefit from the dry bag. I also can not say enough good things about how easy it is to compress. This is one of the best pieces of gear I own.

We originally were considering Gecko's drawstring style dry bag, but decided this bag looked like better quality level for our needs. This bag was exactly what we needed. We took it on a river float trip, and it was perfect. The lower half was submerged for nearly the entire 3 hours and everything stayed dry. It held our sunscreen, t- shirts, hats, keys, etc with plenty of room. We did put phones and keys in ziplocks just in case, since it was our first time using it and wanted to make sure we were closing it correctly. The strap made carrying and tying down to the tube easy. I would definitely recommend it. The only thing is to make sure you roll down the top enough to ensure a good seal. It says on the bag to roll `` at least 3 times '' but I would recommend rolling basically until you reach the top of your contents.

I have used a lot of different shapes and sizes of the Bill's Bag over the years. The 65 is my favorite size for summer time, inflatable kayaking, or going light on the cat boat. I have had some failure with the plastic buckles in the past, mostly human error by smashing them in the frame or tail gate by accident. I was excited to use the new metal fastening system. They worked really well, except in the cold weather with cold hands. It is a little harder to fit the metal hook through the webbing. I see it as a trade off for a super secure system. The material is also super solid and dry.

[ I have been using the dry bag for my sleeping bag for a little while now and I really like it. The compression is superior to the stuff sack my North Face One Bag came with so it takes up less room in my pack. It is also water resistant so I 'm able to keep my sleeping bag dry and therefore warm and safe. I then bought a larger bag to also keep a spare base layer in so I 'm always sleeping in the driest system possible. This spring has been vey wet so it's been extremely important I keep my gear dry. I feel confident hiking without a pack liner thanks to this dry bag. One tip I recommend is folding the opening back one fold as you store your contents as the lip of the bag has a tendency to bind on what you 're putting in the bag. Once I learned that I felt I was getting the maximum benefit from the dry bag. I also can not say enough good things about how easy it is to compress. This is one of the best pieces of gear I own.

I took all 3 dry pouches in a backpack on a 5 hour canyoneering adventure and we were in a lot of water cliff jumping, repelling, doing water slides and swimming through sections of water. We went tubing down the river for 4th of July. We hit some rapids and my son flipped over and the Quest Water Proof Pouch, of course, went under water!! It had THREE iphones in the bag! We thought for sure we lost them. After 15 minutes of searching in the rapids one of the boys found the bag, lifted it up, and NOT ONE DROP OF WATER in the the bag!! We could n't believe it!! [ The trash dry bag does its job perfectly, keeping messy things like coffee grounds and packaged tuna wrappers and a few beer cans contained and tidy. We used it for car camping, and since it is not critter proof, put it in the car overnight. No messes, no smell( to us humans anyway). We will be strapping it along for a bike packing trip later this summer, and all the strap points will make it very easy to bring along and hang overnight.

[ This is better and more creative than the online description. It has a semi- rigid insert to hold shape, the interior dry bag is attached with loop-&- hook( Velcro), and there are a couple of ways to secure it on the deck of your kayak. Because some powerboat drivers have not paid close attention, I do prefer bright colors when crossing a lakes. And, of course, bright colors are easier for bush pilots to spot. I do wish it came in a bright color similar to a safety vest.

Used on a self support kayak trip on the middle fork of salmon in Idaho. Ran it on the front deck but mounted so the access end was toward the bow. In reverse the angle makes it easy to read a waterproof map in the bungees and did not interfere with strokes. Great for extra jacket, lunch, and small dry box.
