The single wheel trailer is really well designed. I love how you can disassemble it and fit it in a compact car to transport to your next adventure. Assembly was pretty quick and easy. I have used the 8 liter bag for both backpacking and front country travel, it's great for both! I think the thickness of this bag is the perfect intersection of durable and light- good for a food bag while camping or a dirty laundry bag while traveling. I have never had a S2S buckle break on me, but it's cool that it comes with a field replaceable buckle. I 'm not totally sure what the benefit of the hang tab on the bottom of the bag is for, but I 'm sure there is a reason for it.

The addition of the field repairable buckles has also really secured these as some of the best dry bags on the market. I would still prefer the seal design to be changed into more of an envelope style to ensure an even greater seal at the top but beyond that I really recommend these as long as you can put them in the secondary containment like a backpack.

We originally were considering Gecko's drawstring style dry bag, but decided this bag looked like better quality level for our needs. This bag was exactly what we needed. We took it on a river float trip, and it was perfect. The lower half was submerged for nearly the entire 3 hours and everything stayed dry. It held our sunscreen, t- shirts, hats, keys, etc with plenty of room. We did put phones and keys in ziplocks just in case, since it was our first time using it and wanted to make sure we were closing it correctly. The strap made carrying and tying down to the tube easy. I would definitely recommend it. The only thing is to make sure you roll down the top enough to ensure a good seal. It says on the bag to roll `` at least 3 times '' but I would recommend rolling basically until you reach the top of your contents.

Though not very big( which I knew because it is only a 5L capacity) it does a great job of keeping items dry and safe, while the included shoulder strap and clip allow me to secure it from falling out. The lightweight bags are great for application where abrasion is minimized but a susceptible to getting small holes in rough environment or after heavy use. The big river bag is the perfect heavier duty compliment to the lightweight dry bag for applications like kayaking, bikepacking and other adventures where you need to keep items out of the elements but where abrasion can ’ t be entirely avoided. I ’ ve used the 13L size in a few of my whitewater kayaks including my half slice and it a great size to slide behind the seat. Never had a drop of water get in. I like the 13L size, it could easily fit a sleeping bag and a light layer in it. Have yet to get it out on a bike packing mission but expect the lash points will be nice to have. The picante red color is awesome. Looking forward to taking it on more adventures.

So I 've been wanting to upgrade my stock compression bag that came with my sleeping bag for a while now, and wow is the Evac HD absolutely perfect. The 35 L size makes getting a bulky sleeping bag in and compressed a cinch, and the rugged material is perfect for mounting on the outside of a backpack! What's the most impressive, though, is the eVent technology that really allows the sleeping bag to be compressed more than any other type of dry bag, as the air can be pushed out of the bottom through the eVent material. Frankly, I 'm absolutely thrilled with this thing!

I have used a lot of different shapes and sizes of the Bill's Bag over the years. The 65 is my favorite size for summer time, inflatable kayaking, or going light on the cat boat. I have had some failure with the plastic buckles in the past, mostly human error by smashing them in the frame or tail gate by accident. I was excited to use the new metal fastening system. They worked really well, except in the cold weather with cold hands. It is a little harder to fit the metal hook through the webbing. I see it as a trade off for a super secure system. The material is also super solid and dry.

I have used the 8 liter bag for both backpacking and front country travel, it's great for both! I think the thickness of this bag is the perfect intersection of durable and light- good for a food bag while camping or a dirty laundry bag while traveling. I have never had a S2S buckle break on me, but it's cool that it comes with a field replaceable buckle. I 'm not totally sure what the benefit of the hang tab on the bottom of the bag is for, but I 'm sure there is a reason for it.

I use these lightweight dry bags on many caving expeditions. They are fantastic in that they hold up well and weigh almost nothing. The addition of the field repairable buckles has also really secured these as some of the best dry bags on the market. I would still prefer the seal design to be changed into more of an envelope style to ensure an even greater seal at the top but beyond that I really recommend these as long as you can put them in the secondary containment like a backpack.

Bought the Panga 75 for my work and flyfishing travel adventures. This thing rocks! Fit a few days worth of clothes, and all of my fly gear on a recent weekend trip to Aruba. 9 wt 4 piece tube fit well in the bag. When my flight was delayed, I had to hop in a cab from the airport to the marina, and out to the flats. The Panga kept everything dry, including my iPad and electronics. The 75 fit in the overhead no problem on an AA Airbus 319. It ’s currently packed for NYC and a weekend with the wife for previews of Escape to Margaritaville. In reverse the angle makes it easy to read a waterproof map in the bungees and did not interfere with strokes. Great for extra jacket, lunch, and small dry box. It has a semi- rigid insert to hold shape, the interior dry bag is attached with loop-&- hook( Velcro), and there are a couple of ways to secure it on the deck of your kayak. Because some powerboat drivers have not paid close attention, I do prefer bright colors when crossing a lakes. And, of course, bright colors are easier for bush pilots to spot. I do wish it came in a bright color similar to a safety vest.

I 've only used it 3 times so far but i do n't see any issues of wear and tear for many years as i do n't usually beat up a compression sack. I do n't store my quilt in it when it's not being used, I just hang it on the hanger with the quilt.

For the waterproof test, I sprayed the thing with a garden hose, on “ gentle rain ” setting for 30 seconds with my down bag in there to see how it would perform in wet conditions. Overall, it does what it says it does, keeps the contents dry and vents out excess air when the system is compressed. Highly recommend.

[ This is n't my first Sea to Summit compression sack. They are durable and well- made and just do n't seem to tear or fail. You can really pack a sleeping bag into it. And even though it's not water proof, it does seem to repel water.
