The single wheel trailer is really well designed. I love how you can disassemble it and fit it in a compact car to transport to your next adventure. Assembly was pretty quick and easy. Customer support for a defect was great. Once you get moving you don ’ t even recognize it ’s behind you, until you get to a hill, but that ’s part of biking. It would be great if the cargo area was about 6 inches longer for the things that I do.

I ’ ve used several of sea to summits lightweight dry bags in the past. The lightweight bags are great for application where abrasion is minimized but a susceptible to getting small holes in rough environment or after heavy use. The big river bag is the perfect heavier duty compliment to the lightweight dry bag for applications like kayaking, bikepacking and other adventures where you need to keep items out of the elements but where abrasion can ’ t be entirely avoided. I ’ ve used the 13L size in a few of my whitewater kayaks including my half slice and it a great size to slide behind the seat. Never had a drop of water get in. I like the 13L size, it could easily fit a sleeping bag and a light layer in it. Have yet to get it out on a bike packing mission but expect the lash points will be nice to have. The picante red color is awesome. Looking forward to taking it on more adventures.

5 Rick T.
The Big River dry bag as the perfect bag for sea kayaking adventures. With rocky shores on the Maine coast I do n't have to worry about punctures and abrasions. With the added tie loops I can even attach the bag to the outside of my kayak if needed. It's a great addition to my storage solutions.

5 Chris
We love our lightweight dry bags. Super flexible and cool looking also. Forget those bulky bags that wear out in one season, this is the bag for you.

5 Jason H.
[ I ’ ve used the Big River bags for a long time … these with the new side loops and subtlety redesigned profile for the slightly outward tapering opening are great upgrades. We have a few of these and they ’ re great as lightweight but super durable bags to bring along for dropping other bags( like a standard outdoor brand duffle) into when you need the protection.

Great' little' bag. The 8l actually does n't fill a spot in my kit, but these are great waterproof bags. I really like the muted gray color and the white inside to make it easier to see items inside. Good size for spare clothes on a summer trip. Light and durable!

5 Matt
This bag is perfect for backpacking and hiking. This bag kept down clothing perfectly dry on a week long trek where it rained nonstop. The tab on the bottom of the bag is really helpful for hanging the bag off of my backpack. I highly recommend this bag.

5 Michelle S.
I have used the 8 liter bag for both backpacking and front country travel, it's great for both! I think the thickness of this bag is the perfect intersection of durable and light- good for a food bag while camping or a dirty laundry bag while traveling. I have never had a S2S buckle break on me, but it's cool that it comes with a field replaceable buckle. I 'm not totally sure what the benefit of the hang tab on the bottom of the bag is for, but I 'm sure there is a reason for it.

5 Alex C.
I use these lightweight dry bags on many caving expeditions. They are fantastic in that they hold up well and weigh almost nothing. The addition of the field repairable buckles has also really secured these as some of the best dry bags on the market. I would still prefer the seal design to be changed into more of an envelope style to ensure an even greater seal at the top but beyond that I really recommend these as long as you can put them in the secondary containment like a backpack.

[ Well made and easy to use. Kept my gear dry during several inner tubing trips down the Wenatchee River.

Must have in my opinion for any outdoor adventurer. Are multi- purpose, much stronger than they appear and can be shoved full without a worry. I also use them as packing cubes while out on the trail with my family. With four kiddos and a wife, organization is key for all the snacks, gear and STUFF. We love them so much, we purchased individual bags for our kiddos to begin having their own and their bags. I have also used them for packing cubes when traveling and not camping. With S2S, you know the quality is great.

5 Jana R.
[ I liked these so much I ordered more than once. They are the perfect size, weight and durability. I car camp and need bright storage that is waterproof and can pack items easily. They have kept everything dry and in good shape, which is huge.

5 Michael L.
[ I am always excited to get new stuff sacks...:) Sadly, every year I puncture at least 2 or more old ones( no brand in particular), between the rocks, or other sharp gear on backcountry canoe camping trips, it's inevitable. But the STS gear tends to last longer than my current 5- 6 year lifespan. Thank you.

We originally were considering Gecko's drawstring style dry bag, but decided this bag looked like better quality level for our needs. This bag was exactly what we needed. We took it on a river float trip, and it was perfect. The lower half was submerged for nearly the entire 3 hours and everything stayed dry. It held our sunscreen, t- shirts, hats, keys, etc with plenty of room. We did put phones and keys in ziplocks just in case, since it was our first time using it and wanted to make sure we were closing it correctly. The strap made carrying and tying down to the tube easy. I would definitely recommend it. The only thing is to make sure you roll down the top enough to ensure a good seal. It says on the bag to roll `` at least 3 times '' but I would recommend rolling basically until you reach the top of your contents.

I bought a kayak this past summer and was looking for a way to safely store items while paddling. This dry bag did the trick. Though not very big( which I knew because it is only a 5L capacity) it does a great job of keeping items dry and safe, while the included shoulder strap and clip allow me to secure it from falling out. I will probably be making an additional purchase of one of their larger 10L or 20L sizes in the future.

I have used a lot of different shapes and sizes of the Bill's Bag over the years. The 65 is my favorite size for summer time, inflatable kayaking, or going light on the cat boat. I have had some failure with the plastic buckles in the past, mostly human error by smashing them in the frame or tail gate by accident. I was excited to use the new metal fastening system. They worked really well, except in the cold weather with cold hands. It is a little harder to fit the metal hook through the webbing. I see it as a trade off for a super secure system. The material is also super solid and dry.

5 Jamie S.
So I 've been wanting to upgrade my stock compression bag that came with my sleeping bag for a while now, and wow is the Evac HD absolutely perfect. The 35 L size makes getting a bulky sleeping bag in and compressed a cinch, and the rugged material is perfect for mounting on the outside of a backpack! What's the most impressive, though, is the eVent technology that really allows the sleeping bag to be compressed more than any other type of dry bag, as the air can be pushed out of the bottom through the eVent material. Frankly, I 'm absolutely thrilled with this thing!

5 Drew C.
I have been using the eVac dry bags for years. They are a great way to keep sleeping bags and extra layers dry while gaining room in your bag. The new HD fabric is bomber. I will use it with a roll- top dry bag to keep my sleeping bag dry all summer on the river. These are the best compression bags I have ever used.

5 Will
I am a backcountry fishing guide and I beat on my gear pretty hard. I ’ ve been using the 13L dry bag to keep my sleeping bag compressed and protected from moisture and it works awesome. It ’s super durable and easy to use. I highly recommend this product- it ’s a massive upgrade from a standard sleeping bag stuff sack!

5 Capt F.
Use this bag on my skiff to keep my bulky rain jacket and bibs dry the compression is a tidy space saving feature!

5 Ryler
I absolutely love this bag, for those extended trips where weather is expected and water crossing are necessary this bag provides me the mental security to navigate those with ease. I ’ ll never have to be concerned with small punctures or it getting rubbed against harder items in my pack. This bag is a must for my down gear.

Also worked great as a pillow to reduce pack weight. ... The thing I like most about this dry bag is that two of the straps now have clips on them, which makes it a lot easier to use than the version of this bag I got 10+ years

I took this bag out on a 15 mile trek with new people to hiking. I showed them the importance of a good quality dry bag, as it started to rain! They watched me stuff the next days breakfast along with some personal items in the Evac bag. Worked well keeping the items inside dry. We had no issues. A couple asked me where to go to get one and I said Sea to Summit.

This is a great product for just about any sport that involves any sort of water. This spends most of the winter on my snowmobile keeping backup layers dry, and has held up really well. These ca n't get wet extra layers are essential in the backcountry, but I never have to worry about that with this bag. In the summer this transitions onto my bike and can take the wear and tear of being strapped on externally. I had an older version of these bags, but the new one is easier to use and more streamlined. The compression feature is well worth the( minimal) additional weight as it takes up way less space and gives you more options to strap the bags onto other things.

5 Scott M.
13L is the perfect size for my 20 degree down sleeping bag. It ’s critical to keep down dry and having the compression straps turn a full size down bag into the size of a small basketball which frees up lots of space in my backpack for other items. I have an older version of this bag that still works well but the new quick release buckles on this model make it easier to use. Note that you do need to be patient for the eVent to work. It ’s a dry bag so water can ’ t get in but air can escape with compression out of the eVent fabric. Pro tip: roll the top closed once and add pressure to get out a lot of the air, then add two more rolls and clip closed. Pull the bottom over the top and using constant pressure keep cinching the straps alternating sides for and even compression. Another quality piece of gear by Sea to Summit. Two thumbs up.

5 Mark M.
I 've been using compression dry bags for roughly 20 years and sea to summit has one of the best products available. Their dry bags are durable, effective, and reliable. If moisture is a factor, I will always bring this dry bag.

I have been using the EVX 13 L dry bag when paddling, climbing, camping and bikepacking. This bag is amazing! It is light, tough and above all keeps the weather out. I took this out on a multi- day bikepacking trip which turned into a multi- day snow and rain event. I stored my down jacket and other `` need to stay dry so you do n't cry '' items in it( down jacket/pants). Everything stayed perfectly dry. The compression straps allow me to get my gear into small areas in my bike bags without compromising the integrity of my gear. The compression straps worked super smooth, no twisting or locking up. I travel to remote locations, most of the time solo( unless guiding). I need to know that I can count on my gear to keep me in the backcountry as long as I want and not have to leave due to equipment failure or poor design. The EVAC bag is amazing. I am going to purchase more and I highly recommend it to anyone that spends time exploring, or traveling in areas you know the weather will test and punish the your gear.

We hiked through a river. Each of used a bag in our packs. I fell in 3x and nothing in my bag got wet so I would say it worked very well.

5 CatBo
I bought these for a backpacking trip to use as a stuff sack for my down sleeping bag. The large one is great for that and for hanging your cooking clothes in bear country. We got some light rain and it held up to that. I use the smaller ones for my puffy coat and as a leakproof bag for toiletries.

5 Kid Colt
Used these bags as a little extra added security for electronics that were `` water resistant '' for a recent hike of the Inca Trail. If you 're looking for waterproof or something that could be completely submerged, I would spend the money and buy a higher grade bag. You ca n't beat the price for what I use them for.

5 JennMoll
I bought these for my son to bring to Scout camp& I ’ m very glad I did. He packed all the wet things in these and they worked perfectly. The rest of the stuff in his pack stayed dry. Before that he also used them to keep extra socks dry on a very rainy day. He said they worked perfectly. We ’ ll be bringing them on our trips to the beach, too.

I just received the 100 bag. I already had the 50 and I knew I needed a larger one for longer trips and to store gear for 2 people. I 'm glad I went with the 100. It can hold 2 backpacks, clothes, and other gear for an extended period. It made sense to get this bag over the 75 for a few reasons. It's nice to have the extra space when needed, and both the 75 and and the 100 are required to check in at the airlines so there was no incentive to get the 75 unless you wanted safe a few dollars.

5 Jetskiboss
I bought this for Christmas gift for my son. As I inspected it before giving it to him I admired the quality construction that I expect from Yeti. I was not disappointed. I will buy on for myself soon.

Frequently Asked Questions For Paddle Dry Bag

When selecting a paddle dry bag, consider features such as waterproof materials that provide reliable protection against water exposure. Look for a roll-top closure, which helps create a secure seal and prevents water from entering. Additionally, check for adjustable straps or handles for easy carrying, as well as lightweight designs that won't hinder your paddling experience. Reflective elements can also enhance visibility during low-light conditions.

To determine the right size of a paddle dry bag, consider the amount of gear you plan to carry and the duration of your outing. For short trips or day excursions, a smaller capacity bag may suffice, while longer adventures may require a larger bag to accommodate extra clothing, food, and equipment. Additionally, think about the type of activities you will be doing, as this can influence the size needed to ensure all your essentials fit comfortably. Always allow for some extra space to prevent overpacking and to keep your items organized.

Paddle dry bags are typically made from materials such as nylon or polyester, often coated with waterproof coatings to enhance their durability and water resistance. These materials are lightweight yet strong, allowing them to withstand the rigors of outdoor activities. Additionally, many dry bags feature reinforced seams and closures to prevent leaks and ensure long-lasting use in various conditions.

Paddle dry bags are designed to be waterproof, providing a reliable way to keep your gear dry during water activities. They are typically made from durable materials that prevent water from seeping in, even when submerged. However, it's important to ensure that the bag is properly sealed and closed to maintain its waterproof capabilities. Many options also offer water-resistant features, which can protect against splashes and light rain but may not withstand full submersion.

Paddle dry bags are ideal for activities that involve water, such as kayaking, canoeing, and paddleboarding. They are designed to keep your gear dry and protected from splashes and submersion. These bags are also useful for camping and hiking trips where you may encounter wet conditions. Their waterproof materials and secure closures make them a reliable choice for outdoor adventures.

To ensure your gear stays dry while using a paddle dry bag, start by properly sealing the bag according to the manufacturer's instructions. Make sure to roll down the top of the bag several times before securing the buckle to create a watertight closure. Additionally, avoid overpacking the bag, as this can compromise the seal. It's also a good idea to store sensitive items in smaller waterproof pouches inside the dry bag for added protection.

Paddle dry bags come in various styles that cater to different needs and activities. Some feature roll-top closures for easy access and secure sealing, while others may have more specialized designs for specific uses, such as backpack straps for hands-free carrying. The size and capacity can also vary, allowing users to choose a bag that fits their gear requirements. Additionally, materials may differ, impacting durability and waterproof capabilities, which are essential for protecting contents during water activities.

Yes, paddle dry bags can be versatile and used for various outdoor activities beyond paddling. They are designed to keep your gear dry, making them suitable for camping, hiking, fishing, and even beach outings. Their waterproof materials and secure closures help protect your belongings from moisture and dirt, ensuring they stay safe during different adventures. Many outdoor enthusiasts appreciate their functionality for storing clothing, electronics, and other essentials in wet conditions.

The typical lifespan of a paddle dry bag with regular use can vary based on factors such as the materials used, frequency of use, and care taken during storage and transport. Many dry bags are designed to withstand exposure to water and rugged conditions, which can extend their durability. With proper maintenance, including cleaning and storing them away from direct sunlight, many users find that their dry bags can last several seasons. However, signs of wear and tear should be monitored to ensure continued effectiveness.

To properly store a paddle dry bag when not in use, first ensure that it is clean and completely dry to prevent mold and mildew. Roll it up tightly to minimize space and avoid creasing, and store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to protect the materials. Avoid folding it in the same spot repeatedly, as this can weaken the fabric over time. Keeping it in a breathable storage bag can also help maintain its shape and integrity.
