Keep your hands dry and warm. A little pricey, but you get what you pay for. For the ice angler, these are a bit cumbersome to try and use while fishing. The dexterity and sensitivity just is n't good enough for me to use on my jigging/rod hand. Keeps my reeling hand nice and toasty though!

Bought DH gloves for Christmas and he loves them. This winter has had temps as cold as- 16 and these gloves have been great. Worth the extra cost. He likes that they are tight fitting gloves so he can work on things outside without needing your typical bulky glove.

Thank you for being soooooooo prompt.. you got on it right away& I had the gloves pronto. They are a Christmas present so he has n't seen them yet. I checked them over& they are solid& light weight.. a very good product. If for some cranky reason `` he '' does n't like them, I have several sons that would love them. All Dick's products are great& not all that pricey. Thanks for the good service. Elizabeth

[ The fit is a bit small, depending on what you plan on doing with them. I bought these in a women's small. I have small hands; my palm circumference is an even 7 '' and the length of my hand is just less than 7 ''. I 've never previously found a women's small to be at all tight, in fact, sometimes I have to order extra smalls, but these gloves are just a tad bit on the small side. They fit perfectly when my hand is curled, as if you 're holding onto your ski poles or something else, but when I try to stretch my hand as open as possible, it feels just a bit tight in the length. So if you plan on standing around with your hand opened wide and pressed down flat, you should size up. The other issue is the gauntlet sleeve is a little tight/small in circumference-- it's just a bit hard to pull on over a parka sleeve, especiallly if one glove is already on. Also, if you want really fine dexterity, these are too thick for that. I found that while the touchscreen fingers do work fine on my phone and tablet, the difficulty comes in in accuracy, due to the thickness of the gloves. I also found it a little difficult to use a sensitive two button mouse without accidental clicks. However, those things aside, the gloves are very comfy/cozy. The inside lining is soft and I have n't yet noticed sweaty palms. They kept me warm and dry working outside in cold and rainy weather, which is what I bought them for. I would have preferred if the palms had been reinforced with another layer of leather, but so far they seem to be holding up to chopping and stacking wood and other miscellaneous odd jobs around a cabin in the woods when it's cold and rainy. I would imagine these would be good for snowsports as well as winter motorcycling, but again, if you 're looking for really fine touchscreen dexterity, I 'd find a thinner glove that maybe is n't as warm/thick.
