Very pleased with these gloves!! I had read a review previously that he used them on fire assignments and was hooked, bought them a few weeks ago and took them out to OR on a fire and they did great! But BONUS I 've also put them to the test at tree climbing this week and they 've done really well! Only gripe is that they 've stretched a little bit, to where the extra space in the fingers gets stuck in carabiners from time to time. Easy to mitigate though, and the leather holds up super well to fire, ash, dirt, sap, ropes, and all:) plus do love that extra loop on the fingers to hang them in a way on my hip that keeps misc dirt from falling in.

These are my new favorite belay gloves! I take them up on the wall when I 'm doing multipitch climbs and also to the sport crag. They are versatile and generally awesome! I did get some holes in them after some usage, so be aware the durability is an issue, but I really have n't found a glove that's both dextrous and durable. Belay gloves put up with some serious abuse, so I 'm not really sure what's reasonable to expect.

() I 've been looking for the perfect pair of gloves for doing rope rescue training for Search and Rescue for a while now. The Granite gloves seemed a bit tight when I first got them, but within an hour of using them, they seemed to conform to my hands like an extra layer of skin. I have enough dexterity to tie and untie knots while wearing them and they give me plenty of protection when rappelling.

When selecting camping gloves, consider features such as insulation, waterproofing, and grip. Insulated gloves are ideal for colder conditions, while waterproof options help keep your hands dry in wet weather. Additionally, look for gloves with textured palms for better grip on tools and equipment.
Camping gloves are typically made from a variety of materials including synthetic fabrics, leather, and fleece. Synthetic materials often provide durability and moisture-wicking properties, while leather offers excellent protection and longevity. Fleece-lined gloves can add warmth, making them suitable for colder climates.
Yes, there are various styles of camping gloves designed for specific activities such as hiking, climbing, or general outdoor use. Lightweight gloves may be suitable for warmer weather and activities requiring dexterity, while heavier, insulated gloves are better for colder conditions or when handling equipment.
To ensure a good fit for camping gloves, measure your hand size and refer to sizing charts provided by the retailer. It's important that the gloves fit snugly but still allow for movement and flexibility. Trying on gloves with the intended layers underneath can also help you find the right size.
Using camping gloves during outdoor activities can enhance grip, protect against abrasions, and provide warmth. They help shield your hands from harsh weather conditions and rough surfaces, making tasks like setting up camp or handling equipment safer and more comfortable. Additionally, gloves can prevent blisters during extended outdoor use.
