I have had a pair of these Wingshooter ST for 1. 5 years working in a wet and dusty granite shop 9 hrs a day. I keep track of my miles and I have just over 1000 miles on these boots so far in extremely harsh conditions. They are not worn out yet, but I am starting to think about replacing them in 6 months or so and I will be definitely buying the same boot again!

I didn ’ t know a boot like this existed. I am very particular. My work requires EH, composite toe, heel, and full grain leather. That ’s what I got with some style and comfort. I love the white soles, these boots are comfortable, lightweight and sturdy. I hope to care for them as long as I can with the ability to redraft and we ’ ll see if I buy the same pair again.

As a proud owner of a pair of Redwing Irish Setters, I can confidently say they are more than just boots; they ’ re a part of my everyday adventures. Unfortunately, my beloved pair has seen better days, and with them being discontinued, I find myself in a bit of a pickle( or should I say, a bootless situation). I ’ ve searched high and low for a replacement, and while I ’ ve stumbled upon the Marshall model, I just can ’ t seem to find a size 13 Wide EE anywhere! It ’s as if they ’ ve vanished into thin air, leaving me with a heavy heart and a longing for those trusty Irish Setters. So, here ’s my cheeky request: Could we rally the Redwing team to consider firing up the production line just for us loyal fans? I promise to spread the word far and wide about how amazing these boots are! After all, every adventurer deserves the perfect pair to accompany them on their journeys. Thank you for considering my heartfelt plea. Here ’s hoping for a future filled with more Irish Setters!

I had have them for four years and still going the only down fall is there no longer waterproof but love them

I PRUCHASED THE MARSHALL BOOTS A FEW DAYS AGO AND ONLY HAVE WORN THEM FOR MAYBE A TOTAL OF 20 HOURS SO FAR. THE COMBINATION OF THE SOLE AND FOOTBED MAKE THEM VERY COMFORTABLE. I AM AFRAID HOWEVER THAT IN THAT TIME THE BOOTS MAY HAVE STRETCHED MORE THAN I THOUGHT. I SEEM TO BE GETTING MORE HEEL SLIP THAN WHAT I FEEL IS COMFORTABLE NOW.

Highly recommended
I bought these boots after I bought a pair of ariats that after 2 months had already started to break down and cut into my foot. Needless to say I returned them and went with this boot. It's comfortable, waterproof which is a must since I 'm a new construction electrician and the electrical hazard safety was a plus. I did n't know what to expect but after 3 years of daily use it was finally time to replace them but if I had too, I could have pushed them even longer. I did n't keep them oiled as I should have so the leather was finally drying out. I replaced with the same boot just different style. Once you find something that works, you have to stay with it. The side by side pictures you 're able to see the wear they take over 1000 days of daily use, even use outside of work. My daily wear boot. Work and play.

I purchased these 2 years ago. Work 50 hours a week and hose down a meat cooler. They have held up great and are the most comfortable footwear that I own. Finally wore out the leather by the stitching of the sole, and its probably from using bleach every day. Getting another pair today

I couldnt be happier with this boot. I work on cement 10- 12 hours 6 days a week and these boots have held up extremely well. I am now on 2+ years and they are still in good shape. No rips or tears. I change the insole every 6 months or so. I will definitely buy this boot again.

I bought my first pair 3 years ago and I just bought a new pair and I can only say that they stayed watertight until recently and that's the longest I 've ever had a pair of work boots stay dry, I 'm ironworker so enough said on the abuse I dish out to a pair of boots... a pic of my new pair..

Since I started working I ’ ve only worn redwing boots because they ’ re study and comfortable. These aren ’ t any different. They require a little bit of effort to get on, but they ’ re really comfy( and also stylish, which is a pleasant bonus). I haven ’ t had to work in them in the rain yet, but I don ’ t have any reason to believe they won ’ t perform as advertised.

I bought my first pair of Red Wing boots in 1994 and they lasted me approximately 26 years. I finally got around to purchasing another pair and I absolutely love these. Extremely comfortable and significantly better than the Ariats I got a couple years ago. No comparison. Red Wing boots stand alone.

Sizing fit my normal size, 10. 5D. Always have worn cowboy boots but unsure if my feet are changing or what but lately the top of my foot at the ankle has been rubbed raw by cowboy boots that I have worn for years through various styles( ariat, double H, Redwing). Did n't want to give up the heel style I prefer so after reading reviews ordered these. After a month of wear, found my ideal boots. They are light, almost no weight to them and the break in was no struggle with normal wear and rest of cycles between this and other pairs of boots. I had tried the Red Wing Logger Max 9 inch years ago and the laces for some reason refused to stay tied( unsure if it was the pair or user error). I work in an administrative environment 80% of the time with 20% in the field. I cant say enough about the weight, as I stated almost none, I have worn boots my entire life and Redwings have encompassed about 70% of the brands I have always worn. With good care and resoling as needed, look forward to having these boots for years.

Ye Olde Telephone Man
I am on pair number 5 of these boots. I work telcom and wear these daily. Over 10 years in this job, I have tried all the major climbing brands, and I keep coming back to these from Irish Setter as the best out there. We work through the swamp, up the poles, and inside every attic, and these boots have held up great in every application.

I 've tried on many a different brand and style of loggers and these are by far the best fitting! I had a time finding a logger boot fmto fit my feet cause im a 12. 5 on a bradick board, or however its called. Im in between a 12 and 13 in every other boot brand which never fit right. Purchased a size 12 and they are sized larger than my feet at about a size 12. 5. So they fit perfect. Comfortable all day, insulated tp where my feet are n't cold riding the Harley in cold weather even! Very cushy tongue and stalk as well. Probably going to order another pair to keep on the shelf. Once you find something that works this well for you, you buy two or 3 of them! Well done Irish Setter!!

I bought these boots over 3 years ago. I am always wearing them, regardless if I ’ m in the woods, on the job, or everyday living. For years I have worn out every brand of boots in 6 months or a year. I went into my purchase with the same expectation. I have been extremely impressed and I will be purchasing another pair soon.

I typically don ’ t write reviews but after a day of nonstop wearing in the snow I need to give Red Wing huge props for these boots. Not are they only the most comfortable boot I may have ever owned, they kept my foot entirely dry the entire day and when i reached into the boot to see if it was damp at all it was entirely dry. The cushion and comfort in this boot is unreal. I ’ m not a hunter nor do I use these boots for work. I wear them to walk my labs during the winter in all weather. worth the money. I ’ m actually surprised they don ’ t charge more for these since there is a well worth premium on Red Wings. They ’ re also a great boot for just casual wear.

Being on my feet most of the days for the past 30+ years of my career, I need a greatly comfortable pair of shoes.... especially with my lower discs deteriorated. Also need the shock resistance working on 120- 480 volt equipment. Also need the slip resistance on slippery and/or oily surfaces. These have been my 'go- to' for a couple decades now. These are more comfortable to me than any pair of 'tennis show' I 've worn There is a negative to the comfort... the shoes are actually designed as a 'trail style' shoe. That means the soles are softer than a typical work shoe/boot. It's worth my comfort to have to buy a new pair a little sooner than I would another work boot. I wear the low and high tops.

A good place would be when I purchased these bad boys during my time working at Cabela's 4 years ago. Once I placed these glorious looking fiends on a display rack, I knew I had to have them. And boy am I glad I do. These have been my year- round daily boot, for literally all weathers in Colorado, and I wear them literally every day. The leather has worn in so amazingly, that I forget I 'm wearing them sometimes. I have worn the soles down to being almost flat, now, and have swapped out insoles for some Meindl ones, but man, insoles only do so much. I wear these hiking, Jeeping, running errands, going outside in general, these are what I want on my feet. I have worn these at several jobs, ranging from my mechanic work, to the tarmac as ground crew for an airline, and they are still solid, no tears, rips, anything!( there is some stuffing from the belly of the airplanes when I was stuck on my knees, but it does matter to me, they still look great!) They are such amazing boots, that I base any other boot I try on them. And none have compared yet. You still debating whether to get them or not? Do you like/want to buy multiple pairs of the same boot, or have one that will last through the ages, and all the crazy in between? You wo n't regret these, I guarantee.

Very well made and comfortable. ... This is the most comfortable work boot that I have owned. ... The insoles are beat up had to swap them out but otherwise great

These boots and there past versions last a long time. I 've had several pairs over the last 23 years I 've worked roadway construction and they are the only work boots I use. The Vibram soles are the best. Leather is top quality. I replace the insoles yearly.

I work in the Oil and Gas Industry in Northeast PA., I am on my 5th pair of these boots, I get about 1 year out of these boots, which is acceptable to me. I work in mud and water every day and these boots are not babied. They have never ripped or come apart on me, they keep my feet dry. I highly recommend these boots, good job Irish Setter.

I got the boots form my company purchase program. I love the way they feel and are very comfortable. I am in transition from my GA Boots that I have had for two years with out any problems. I am looking forward to the quality that is marketed. I hope they live up to my other boots. I wear them every day of the week I am in construction. So the weekends are flip flops. Lol.

Bought 2 pairs of these about six years ago to wear around the barn and working in the woods and running a sawmill. They have been just what my old dogs needed. Comfortable, good support without being tight but easy to slip on and off even with swollen feet at the end of the day. They have been stepped on by horses, had logs dropped on them, been buried in horse manure and mud and yet stayed reasonably waterproof with minimal care. Highly recommend for anyone who likes a pull on work boot.
$184.99
Amazing comfort and durability ... Very comfortable boot, well built. ... Comfortable, sturdy boot ... The held up pretty reasonably, keeping my feet dry and warm in the sub zero

On my third pair. I average about 15000 steps a day and I have been impressed. These have served me well both in the shop and out in the field. As a heavy equipment mechanic these boots have served me well in all conditions. Retired my last pair with roughly 1500 miles on them.

I work as a PM for an electrical company in the solar panel field. I once worked as a shoe sales girl. TBH I read all the reviews and the ones complaining about heavy use, you ’ re probably overweight and overworked. If you ’ re in a bullue collar field you ’ re most likely making bank so stop complaining and it ’s your feet change the shoes every six months. I ’ ve had mine for about 2 years now and it ’s worked fabulously. Lightweight, durable and everything is functional. Get over yourself, if you ’ re using them 50- 60 hours a week of course you ’ ll destroy them. Take care of your feet!

I bought these boots 2. 5 years ago and just bought a new pair. I really didn ’ t need to because they still hold up. I didn ’ t perform any care for these boots and they ’ ve held up amazing. I wore a hole in the toe crease point and the leather began separating from the toe about a month ago. I ’ ve worn them through my metal fabrication jobs a short term at UPS( immense amount of walking) and even plumbing putting a lot of wear and tear on the toes of these but they still held up. Metguards added in the past 3 months. I ’ ve been drenched while plumbing and in the rain. I ’ ve worked in these while dealing with more than 3 feet of snow through the cold seasons. I personally stay away from the models that have zippers I ’ ve never had a good experience with zippers. Worked most weeks as 7/10s or 6/10s and still wore them casually. I couldn ’ t recommend them more.

Fit nicely under my arches and have good grip when working on slick surfaces. A little heavy because of the toe but light enough to walk on for hours without my legs getting tired.

I weigh any where from 155- 165 at any given point. I am fire sprinkler fitter and have loved every bit of these boots. Downside with my trade is often times being in standing water and you get what you get from them not being water proof, that ’s okay. My girlfriend tries to get me to wear a different brand, nah….. Ashby's for life lol I can still wear the ones I have now but the bottoms are to slick for me, has holes all in the leather and I ’ ve tied together the shoelaces to many times. It ’s time to retire em!

I bought these boots about 4 months ago as a dress/casual boots as I was wearing Irish Setter Ashby 83908( a Union IW wearing safety toes, 100% BS right?). Well I was moved to another crew and was walking Iron and need a pair of lace ups. These boots have exceeded all expectations. The have been subjected to climbing columns, welding, cutting torches, and grinders( cut off wheels, tiger paws, and grinding rocks.) I wear these boots everyday for 18 hours+ from 4: 30 A. M. to about 10: 30 P. M. when I finally get to bed. I have walked 5+ miles a day( sometimes up to 15 miles a day) in them and the just keep going. My only gripe is Irish Setter does n't make an 8 '' version of this boot! I will be upgrading to Redwing 411/2418 in the next few weeks, but I will still wear these a a pair of 2nds. I will ALWAYS and FOREVER SONG THE PRAISES OF IRISH SETTER as the BEST entry level work boot! Oh lastly, I love Irish Setter boots so that I actually got married in a pair of them. Our Priest thought that was a little nuts but I was going to wear the boots I love to become one flesh with the woman I love! NOW GET UP ON IT! OH AND SEND STICKERS!

In my work I 'm in and out of big trucks, pick ups, under houses, over rocks, swamps. out of work I hunt around cliffs and deep woods fish in ponds and rivers along with welding splitting wood working on cars a little bit of everything these boots are put threw it all including harsh chemicals such as oil gas degreaser and so on and amazingly hold up very well, most work boots only last about a year bu these put up with it for a little over 2 years with me trying to see how tough they where. I have bought a second pair and fully believe with actually taking care of them like they should be and not intentionally abusing them till they are torn apart they should last for years also very comfortable love these looking forward to getting another pair but insulated for winter

Incredible, Works great for cold climate. ... I bought these maybe a month ago and rite out the box they were some of the most comfortable boots I ’ ve ever

I 've been wearing work boots since I was 16. I 'm almost 64 now and these boots are by far the best boot I 've ever put on my feet. 2 and a half years of everyday use. Every single day. They are the most comfortable, most protective, most durable boot. Well worth the price. Even the laces held up all this time. Well Done.

I 'm on year three of having these work boots. I work in Bering Sea Alaska area. They are very comfortable and waterproof.- 25 Fahrenheit was about the coldest that I wore the boots in, they start to be a little cold at that point, but its rarely that cold here anyway. I walked on ice alot and felt like the traction was better than most my peers on the same surface.

I had a great experience with this boot. Switched from a different boot manufacturer which lasted about 1 year and tried these out for the first time. Very sturdy for me, lasted over a year and a half with no issues. I finally had to call it because the laces were starting to fray around the speed hooks but still good amount of tread left. Not the best in terms of non- skid but very comfortable. Going to try a second pair since the newest brand boots I was testing failed within the first 4 months of light use.

Have been wearing these about 70 hours per week for the last 2 months, comfortable and breathable. With that much use, if I can get 12- 14 months out of them I will definitely be buying again.

I bought these maybe a month ago and rite out the box they were some of the most comfortable boots I ’ ve ever owned. The waterproofing is done well and the laces are made where they don ’ t slip and are comfortable in the hands

I 've had the Contrysider since 2014 and am very pleased with the quality of construction. I use them primarily for yard work and the boot has held up well. They are dirty but the leather and soles are in good shape. I replaced the insoles once,

I work in metal fabrication so i need boots that can handle any and all conditions especially when I weld and cut metal with the torch. I ’ ve had these for over a year now and are just now starting to wear out so I will be purchasing new setters. This will be my third pair in 5 years so that says something about these boots! I would recommend to anyone in construction or whatever heavy duty job one has.

I bought these shoes 2 1/2 years ago. Had to replace the BOA system on my right boot. No problems with that, I put a lot of miles on them before the soles broke down. Excellent boot highly recommended.

This boot is well worth any price, in my humble opinion. I purchase Keen boots and I have never had one last for 2 years. I 'm hoping this product does just that. I am hard on my shoes, I maintain the grounds for a large Sacramento region water company. This job will put these boots through the paces. I love the boa tie. I 've been looking for a product for a long time like this one that I can slip in and out of with ease. No more laces!!! Imagine that. Finally a brilliant engineer in the boot industry. Just what we all need. Thank you!!! I do not hunt, nor do I fish. I work hard and I work long. 10- hour days, average. I spend over 200 days per year in the field. What a question. Come on, seriously!!

Bought these a year ago for work. I use to wear gym shoes to work then change into safety boots, but these… i wear them all the time non- stop. They ’ re very comfortable on my feet for long days of walking and standing. The toe protectors perform well along with the BOA system. The BOA system is very convenient for leaving home in the morning and getting home. It ’s also easier on my back not having to tie laces. I hope this model remains… I ’ m buying another pair for hunting also
