Incredible shades. I started with the Red Sands, which were great. However, since my head is NOT the size of a parade balloon, I swapped 'em out for the more streamlined Pokowai Arches. They fit my medium- sized melon perfectly. I love these things because they 're stylish( translucent gray frames, Hawaii blue lenses), but they are also incredibly light- weight... if you 're after comfort, you simply will not find a pair of glasses that can compete with these. Well done, Maui Jim! Now, it's on me- I need to cherish these, and hold on to them, unlike the 6, 300 pairs of shades I 've lost throughout my life( approximate count).

These are the real deal! As premium as it gets! To be fair, I tried a pair of Makoa's earlier this year. Although the Bronze glass was amazing, it felt too tight, the frame was squeaky and as it was shiny Black it bounced light into the eye. Really unpleasant experience. Because the Bronze lens was so amazing I decided to give Maui Jim another shot and got the Southern Cross. This pair is the real deal! Lens- SuperThin Glass Bronze lens. Truly unmatched. Blows up the competition with ideal combination of clarity, polarization& color. I tried Costa, Smith and the plastic version of Bronze lens, and this lens tops it all. Anti reflective coating is as good as it gets! Just perfect. Frame- I really like Matte Black frames as it does n't bounce light into my eyes from above. I was a bit afraid the Tortoise frame will do the same, but I was SO SO wrong.. The frame color is just amazing. It complements the Bronze lens just perfectly. It's like the high end TVs that reflect color on the wall to complement the image. It really works and feels great. The frame tone is pretty dark, it does not reflect any light and really gives the pair a premium look. The frame material is is plastic but the texture is just premium. It feels smooth& 'rubbery'. Spring hinges are great and the frame sits relaxed on my face. Unlike the Makoa's that felt unbalanced( the front was much heavier than the rear causing it to slip from the head), this pair feels much more balanced, with good nose& temple grip. Overall, I really feel I found the ultimate pair. True premium feel for lots of year to come.

I have macular degeneration and I do a lot of gardening. With regular sunglasses I see turquoise everywhere after I go inside from working outside. No turquoise anymore with these. An eye saver! The Blue Hawaii lens is awesome. the colors are very vibrant and real. I ca n't say enough about this lens. I use them when I 'm gardening and with the polarization the colors are so true that I 'm able to see all the different flower shades with them on. The Blue Black Stripe frame is light weight, comfortable and fits my face and head well. I love that the wraparound keeps the sun off my eyes from the side. I have purchased the Meta glasses and im very impressed with the video quality it has. The sou d is also good and when asking questions. It answers pretty quick. The language translator work great also. Ive used several times.

This is my third pair of MJ. They are just as good if not better than my last. I love that these are so light weight. I have a smaller face, so it's difficult to find sunglasses that do n't overwhelm my face. These are perfect! They really are unlike any other sunglasses out there and well worth the money.

The shades are Rad. The service was perfect, I did not pay 249 but they are worth it if you scuba dive 700 times a year like I do. Light weight stylish and the lens is second to none.
