My eyes are extremely sensitive to bright light; so, I ca n't be without sunglasses, but finding a good pair at a good price is a challenge. However, these Surf N Sport sunglasses are great at an equally great price. I also love that my peripheral vision is protected- which for those with sensitive eyes is very important. I bought these to replace a pair of Maui Jims I had for 8 years. I thought those were the best lenses ever. The Costas were better. I had the 580G lenses and they seemed to adapt from a brown lens in low light to a dark gray in bright light. I broke them a month after I bought them. Luckily I had the no sweat protection plan so I 'm headed back to get a replacement pair soon!

This is the best fitting pair of sunglasses I have purchased yet. The frame fits so natural to my face like it was just suppose to be there. I usually wear Oakley's but I wanted to try Costa. Glad I did. The 580 lenses were worth the extra 60 bucks by far. That fuzzy glare I see during sunrise and sunset while driving is almost eliminated.

I just bought a pair of Costa Del Mar Fathom Sunglasses. I have a pair I bought last summer that have lasted me for over a year now. I am a wrangler on a dude ranch in Colorado I am in the sun all day long and do a lot of rough work like throwing saddles feeding and maintenance. They have been the toughest sunglasses I have ever had. I have had Revo, Oakley, Maui Jims, and Bolle. Costa Del Mar's have been by far the strongest toughest sunglasses I have ever owned. They are the only sunglasses that handle the work I do. The lenses take a major beating before they ever see a scratch. I originally purchased the Costa Manta Ray 400's( which are fantastic), however after the purchase I had buyers remorse.... buyer's remorse for the fact that I did n't spend the extra$ 80 and get 580's..... so I returned them and I did!!! What a great pair of glasses. I used them in Costa Rica, while ocean fishing. I could see every Sailfish strike... and I could see deeply into the Pacific. These have now become my Water Sport glasses `` ONLY ''. I use an older pair of Oakleys for everyday use. I am a long time Oakley fan and have always hated on Costa. I own 14 pairs of oakleys and 2 Maui Jim's and 1 Ray Ban pair. By far for the price the Costas trump my 450 dollar Oakley Polarized Prizim lenses. For half the price it is hard not to love these. I am looking forward to trying some other big guy approved glasses for our long days on the water and riding around. I like the glass and plastic application options as sometimes I like the plastic when working in environments the lenses could shatter and glass for driving around or days out on the water. New Costa sunglass fan. We shall see how they hold up to my tried and true Oakley Jawbones and Oil Cans.

Great polarized lens, color is ok. I would have enjoyed a more girl color( Purple plz) but grey is an everything kinda color, so it works. The legs are very straight which causes them to fall a lot. I got some cheap holders to keep them around my neck if they do fall off. Having that on is a down fall tho cause it's a pain to wear when you have a bun or hair clip. Always get caught in both. I will hang on to these for as long as possible.
