I throw these only on braided line. Great hook up ratio and really strong wire hook. Have not bent any out. I use the 3/0 and 4/0. I do n't use them for swimbaits, but for plastic creature baits and worms. Gives them a faster sink rate due to the thicker gauge wire.

I like D. O. A. jigs because they are the highest quality of any others I see on the store rack. First, the hooks and barbs are precision ground; they are super sharp, hold well and the smaller barbs are more easily removed from a fish jaw than most other jigs. Second, the D. O. A. jig neck barbs hold plastic baits on the jig neck consistently with no slippage. Third, the jig molding and paint makes for a consistent finish, plus the painted eyes are prominent and I think add to their effectiveness. If you chuck bait then the scent and chum effect of the bait probably overcomes a variety of jig deficiencies. But if you fish plastic, I think the D. O. A. jigs will give you the best plastic bait action for only pennies more. BTW, I use scent on my plastic shrimp and jerkbaits and find I get a monumental increase in strikes in the first 15- 20 minutes after application.

The pics here are not correct. This is the pro bulletz in the pics. The finesse bullets do not have the big bulbous weight. But, these are great jig heads for fishing in weedy areas. I put a Z- Man Trick Shots Bad Shad on a 1/6 ounce size, and was slaying the bass at a local pond. Hooks are sharp, and the rig was able to get through most weeds easily. Only got hung up in some really heavy grasses a couple of times, but I was able to get out without losing, or even damaging, any tackle.
