[ I have narrow feet and these were true to size and fit perfectly out of the box. Excellent grip on wet rocks and uneven terrain. Water resistant.

[ My daughter and I received these the day before a trip. I did not want to take hiking boots with me. Fortunately, they fit perfectly for each of us. They were perfect out of the box. They were great on a five hour hike up steep cliffs and rock outcroppings. Hugged the ground. No blisters. No sore spots. Held our feet in place. I have a narrow heel but my heels never slipped. Did everything I could have hoped for. We were both really pleased with the fit and performance. We both love these shoes!

[ Super sharp looking and great for hikes. I had to get the 7 's stretched out a bit, but then they fit perfectly( I 'm normally a 6. 5 but wanted room for socks). Have n't had a chance to test out the waterproofing, but I bought these for a trip to Belize in the rainy season, so I guess we 'll see!

This is my second pair of this shoe. I wore the first pair nearly every day, year round for three years until the soles wore down. Fit perfectly from day 1 and I used them for hiking, ordinary wear around town, and even to a casual restaurant dinner. Got many compliments along the way. I am male, wear a men 's size US 6/Euro 39 shoe, and have difficulty finding my size, and a women 's size 7. 5 works with this shoe. Asolo was a new brand name for me and I 'm sold on their quality and fit. The waterproof feature is a bonus, especially in winter.

[ I love the look of these and they were generally comfortable, but just wearing them around the house for a few minutes it was clear that the narrow footbed would be a problem on longer hikes, so sadly having to return. I do n't have particularly wide feet and usually do fine in regulars from other brands, these just run more narrow than most. They do also seem to run large- probably best to try in a store if you can.
