I noticed the model in the photos was 5'10 '' and they 're just about touching the floor, so that 's a great representation of how long they are. Like another reviewer mentioned, the waistband is rather rigid, so depending on how curvy you are, you may have to strain a bit to get them up. But once you do, the fit is exactly as pictured and the sizing is accurate. The fabric is thin but durable and stretchy and there is no weird bagginess or bunching up. Since I am 5' 3 '' the pants are longer on me than they are on the model, but they 're still a few inches above the ankle and look sleek. [ I love these pants. They fit well, are comfortable, and I can get away with wearing them to work. I bought them because I previously bought the Halle pant and wanted a straight leg version in a different color( so I never have to wear another less comfortable pant to work). My only complaints are based on what I think are a few with reductions from earlier versions: I prefer my older version 's fabric, which seems a bit thicker and softer. I also think the older version might have had a double snap on the leg, which I like better too.( One on each side.) Finally, the waist tire was frayed at the end( nothing duck tape could n't fix). These are certainly not deal breakers, and I still wear these pants every week. Before I got these pants I mistakenly got the Halle II. Even with a post pregnancy body, the extra room in the waist on the Halle II bunched strangely.

Love these pants! I have gotten many compliments on them from my family. I ’ m thin so I got the XS and the fit great. Not too tight but fitted enough to to be flattering not feel like your wearing hiking pants. There are tons of pockets and I mean pockets that actually hold things including your phone! Thanks Columbia cause in women ’s pants this is a rare feature these days. I do wish there were more color variations.

I have these in just about every color offered and LOVE them! They look good, have lots of pockets and can be dressed up without looking like they are hiking pants! Super lightweight for packing while being comfortable for all year round wear. Highly recommended!

[ These pants are the bomb! They can be dressy or casual, and are super comfortable. The only issue I have is each color fits differently. My black ones fit the best( nicely snug), but my tan pair fits looser. This difference is n't enough for me to buy more, lol, but I wish the sizes were more uniform.

I bought these pants on a whim when I was heading to the checkout. I love them! Very comfortable and long. They have a clasp opening at the waistband, but there is no zipper. They are easy to pull on. You truly can dress these up, or down. I wear them with a sweater and sneakers. Very cute! They are lightweight, so not very warm for cold weather. I am typically a size 8 in pants, and the mediums fit great, with a little “ room ”. I ’ m more straight shaped than curvy. Happy with these pants!

I do n't like reviews that say `` love these '' or some such, since it tells me very little. So... I am 5' 2 and weigh 152 pounds. My inseam is usually 28 inches, no more than 29. I ordered the large and they were perfect in length, landing right at my ankles with a little sag for give in the knees, and for squatting. I have a bit of a straight waist that is short- the waist band is about a 2 inch band that did NOT roll over or down and did not bind so the waist was just right. Fit perfect in the hips, and I have a butt so they stretched without gapping or sagging down in the back. I washed them in warm water, rinsed in cold and hung them up to dry. Dried quickly. They were warm without being hot, did not bunch in the crotch, and I had on jeans over them. Worked outside on the farm and stayed cozy. Went back and bought two more pairs.

`` Heavyweight '' is a little misleading. The fabric is very thin and see- through. On their own, they do n't feel very warm, but worn under jeans or other pants as intended, they function very well. I forget I 'm even wearing them under jeans, and they keep me very warm on cold mornings. A good comfortable base layer. Got the M and they fit great. I 'm usually a 6- 8 in pant size.
