I received this wool shirt for my birthday and I recently took it with me on a 6 night canoe trip. It was perfect to wear around the campfire and not worry about the sparks. I wore it every day from wake up to bedtime. It was perfect for cool temperatures, while paddling the canoe and even during rain showers it kept me dry. A' must' item to bring on my next outdoor trip and will look into getting for other members of the family. It is a bit itchy( wore a long sleeve top underneath on this trip due to the cool temperatures) but am told that after a few washes it will soften up.
