I had so many questions about this jacket when buying online and not having the opportunity to try it on first. The first question was sizing bc I read reviews saying it was too big. I bought based on the actual measurements of the jacket. I have a medium that is 22 '' in the chest. I usually wear L or XL in women 's clothes, I 'm happy w this choice bc the jacket is a little more fitted which is good given the weight and bulk. The other thing I wondered was whether it stretches. People said it was stiff, and it is. I 'm assuming it might loosen up w wear over time. There is some stretch in the jacket and it is the perfect amount to wear this jacket more fitted.

Yes, this was expensive but when I got it, I could n't believe how well constructed it was. The fit was perfect and contoured. It was lined and the fleece was dense, with heavy duty zippers. It 's so stylish I almost do n't want to wear it for everyday.

[ I have the heavenly coat so this is a bit shorter, more casual, and I like that the waist can cinch in. The warmth is just perfect for NC short winters. I 'm a medium but reordered a small on this one( I 'm 5' 3 '' 140lbs). I like that it does n't have a hood attached. Looks better in person than in pictures.

[ Really like the length and lighter weight. I am 5 ’ 4 ” about 115lbs and the XS was still a bit large. It does have a cord in the back you can cinch up to make smaller around the waist area. Doing so does cause the front to “ pucker ” out a bit. Still a comfortable coat with the thickness I was looking for with Michigans 30- 40 degree temps.
