I ca n't believe how comfortable these are. I 've previously worn the cascadias for hiking and got a pair for more casual walking around. Im in love. The rain color is light gray lavender and the edge is elasticized around your ankle like a sock. Some people might not like that because you ca n't slip them on, but I do. They have so much cushion they keep me pain free after all day walking around.

The design ditched a traditional tongue and I am for it! The shoe fits like a sock, gripping your feet so you feel comfortable with stability. They are light, breathable and sharp! The cushioning is great but it is much stiffer if that makes sense. The pull on tab on the heel make it easy to slip on. Overall love this shoe!

The cushy craze is not normally my thing because I feel like I 'm falling off of the sides, but I love my Escalantes so much I thought I 'd give it a try. Glad I did! These are great- highly cushioned but stable. I would use these on moderate trails but nothing too technical. My only complaint would be the padded tongue- it's hot! The shoe fits wider than typical Nikes.

Wow. These are awesome. I ran my last half marathon in the Pegasus trail, and I was less than impressed. I went to the Wildhorse but felt those needed more cushioning. When I started doing road races in the vaporfly, I was really hoping that Nike would do some sort of vaporfly hybrid shoe for trails and I feel like this is it! I took it right out of the box on a 7 mile adventure, with about 2k feet of vert in the first 2 miles and then a downhill 3 mile run on a fire road, before hitting 2 miles on pavement. They performed superb. They are ultralite( 6. 5oz in my size) and have a super wide toebox, which is unlike most Nike products. This means that you ’ re not gon na get any pressure on your toenails and they ’ re not hitting up against the front of the shoe. They ’ re super breathable and the carbon fiber plate definitely gives you a little propel forward. I ’ m so excited that Nike finally got a contract with Vibram because the soles are incredibly grippy. I don ’ t know how this shoe would do on super technical terrain, considering it is a race shoe, so it ’s meant to be fast and agile. But I don ’ t know if it would protect you from kicking a rock or hitting a rock with anything near your ankle. You ’ re definitely gon na feel that. I ’ m all in for taking this on my next race and super excited to see how I perform in this shoe. I love that there ’s no break in time with Nike ever and I ’ m really happy to see that they have stepped it up with their trail running shoes. We needed this!

I been looking for about 8 months for a comfortable shoe for standing at work all day. I tried another brand because that is what they recommended. I hated the other brand but since I spent almost$ 200. 00 on them I was keeping them. They are now my grass cutting shoes. I bought clouds for my oldest son. He loves them and recommended that I switch to clouds. I 'm so thankful I did. Standing is not as awful and I actually enjoy my shoes now. They are good supporting and comfortable to wear. I bought another pair just to walk on the treadmill.
