I previously was wearing my blundstones but on- 20 F nights I just was n't having it anymore! I 've now been wearing these Bogs for a few weeks and in( almost) all sorts of condition. They were definitely a bit stiff the first 2 weeks I 'd say. But now my foot easily slips in and out of the shoe. I noticed a little bit of rubbing on my ankle in those first two weeks but that has gone away. I have high arches and usually put some inserts into my shoes. I tried that for a bit with these and found it to be a little tight. They are comfortable without the inserts but I might try again in the future once they are completely broken in. I wear sz 6 shoes and regular boots, but the local store only had sz 7, which were too big so I ordered 6- 1/2. They 're slightly roomy, perfect with thicker socks and fine with regular socks. I am so glad I finally caved and bought these! They are so adorable, and so comfortable. I do wish they had a bit more arch support, but that issue is on me and my foot issues, and is also an easy fix. I ’ ve worn them for a solid day now, and haven ’ t had any trouble with the zipper. They do feel slightly larger than a 7, but that ’s fine bc I will most likely wear them with thicker socks most of the time.
