We bought these Nike shoes for my mom after a serious injury — a trimalleolar ankle fracture and a tibial fracture. After such an injury, it ’s very difficult to find footwear that is truly comfortable for walking. This model turned out to be incredibly comfortable: soft cushioning, great stability, and a light feeling with every step. The shoes do not put pressure on the ankle, are easy to put on, and work well even when the foot swells a bit. These are very comfortable! I 'm flat footed so love how these have a slight arch built in as well as cushioning on the bottom. Feels like I 'm walking cloud 9!! Size: I 'm a 9. 5W and sized up. There's a little space at the toe( as expected), but do n't think a smaller size would be as comfortable. My advice is to go by the chart
