[ I am glad I went with my normal size( large) as these seem a perfect and stretchy fit for the 12- 14 size range. The fabric is very nice to ride in because it seems the perfect balance between compression and stretch. I was skeptical about the word spandex but it has a nice feel to it and I 've grown to like it more over time. It is not the cheap sort of nylon that snags but instead it has a softness to it and feels durable. The pants fit me right under the knee and there is no rubber grip, which I like. There is a band of fabric there which is fitted but also stretchy. I am 5' 9 '' and appreciate that the pants feel just right and not too short. The chamois is in a mid- range of density in my opinion. I wear the pants comfortably one day but the next day I switch to other shorts with a firmer density foam pad. Overall I am happier than I thought I 'd be with these pants and would like to have another pair.

The small fits me a lot better, where I do n't have fabric bunching around my rear. Hoping the padding does n't break down as quickly as the Breakaway shorts.

Love these! Despite what others said I love the raw hem( no weird skin impression after my run) and found that my usual size fit me perfectly. The air holes look to be laser cut and have held up well on my other method bottoms( 8 inch and 7/8 pants) so I ’ m not concerned. The compression feels good to me and I like the waist band height. I had ordered a S and a M fearing they ’ d be super tight but am returning the M as the S fits me well. I ’ ve been wearing them on nyc summer runs and will likely wear these into mid/late fall before switching to full length and then brooks fleece lined bottoms for my winter runs. [ Adding more things to my Nike collection and these 7/8 tights have made the cut. The soft material and durability of these tights made this decision easy. [ I never am a fan of tights due to them being restrictive to my specific body type, but not these! These fit around my curves and don ’ t feel restrictive. Also the quality is very nice and they do not become see through during motion, which is a big concern for gym use. The high waisted band is very comfortable and it keeps everything nice and tucked. They do lack pockets and that would be the only thing I would change about them. These are an absolute gem and I will be going back and getting more colors!

This is my second pair I bought. That ’s how much I love them. I use them during my high intensity workouts for a good hr. Material is soft and thick. I love that they go over my belly button, nice fit. I want to say the only thing I dislike is when I wash them together w/other clothing, it attracts a lot of lint. I would wash them inside out.

[ A friend wears these when we walk and they look so warm and comfy so I bought a pair. They will be great for walking, travel and lounging because they are very warm and lightweight. I bought my first Merino wool in New Zealand and never regretted paying the big bucks. The 4 star rating is because of fit. The Small size is very baggy. I am thin, 120# 5' 7 '' and I feel even an XS might be that way. I will still enjoy them because they are warm. I was just hoping for more of a yoga pant slimmer fit for potential evening wear.
