I took this shirt with me for walking the Camino in the early fall( ~35C on the coast with no shade). I 'm very sensitive to heat( due to both MS and some of my medication), but after soaking this shirt in water, the combination of the quick evaporation and the UV protection was enough to keep me comfortable even at noon. It was great to be able to skip out on sunblock and still not end the day looking like a tomato. Like other reviewers said, it 's a little rougher that ideal, but I do have to say, it held up to backpack friction much better than the Abisko wool shirt I took on the same trip and I did* not* get any irritation despite walking all day with a 10- 20kg bag for the first time. Dries very very quickly, which is great when conditions are damp.

The material is a lil tough or like the other reviewer said plastic like but it is very lightweight and if you are looking to save ounces in your pack this sun hoodie is a great option. I like the thumb holes but I feel like the sleeves should be a tad longer for a better fit. I bought the orange and it ’s a beautiful color and bright on the trail. Im hoping with a few washes the shirt will soften a bit.

I work as a construction project manager in tropical Costa Rica, this shirt is nearly perfect. It 's light, it shields you from the sun, and the reinforced stitches makes it durable. The downside, this type of fabric forces me to wash it everyday after work to avoid odor from sticking. I would love to see this very design but with wool, the hoodie is a must for warm climates.

Like some other comments have identified, this is a tighter fit so size up from your typical OR size. I am a 32B, 5' 7 '', and 118 LBS and I got the size S and it fits perfectly. [ I really like the look of this hoodie! I got the joggers along with it and I really like wearing them together because I feel like it looks more put- together than any of my other sweats/hoodies. I am 5 ’ 6 ” and 170 so I usually go for size large. I did get large and it feels true to size—definitely not a baggy look but comfortably snug. The material is really soft and comfy and feels like great quality—I ’ m thinking it will last a long time without tearing or piling. The material is thin but actually is very warm so I wouldn ’ t wear it to workout unless it was pretty chilly. I normally just wear this as a casual/running errands outfit. I bought it and it is now my favorite shirt! I 'm 5 foot, so it covers my bum, which is perfect with leggings. I 'm 180 pounds and the Large is a perfect fit. I 'm also 3 months pregnant and it fits my bump. It is really soft, comgortable, warm but not TOO warm so I can wear it comfortably at work. I love that there is the holes for the thumbs also. The neck cowl is not too tight and gives just enough coverage to keep wind out. I really recommend it.:)
