I have a hard time finding pants long enough for my 33 '' inseam, but these pants are perfect! I 'm 5' 8 '', 140 pounds, with a slim build and the medium fits perfectly. I usually wear long johns or long johns plus another pair of warm pants under these and there is plenty of room. Everything seems to be about the same as my older version except this one has side pockets for my hands and I love that! I mostly wear them for hiking in the rain. Not too tight but fitted enough to to be flattering not feel like your wearing hiking pants. There are tons of pockets and I mean pockets that actually hold things including your phone! Thanks Columbia cause in women ’s pants this is a rare feature these days. I do wish there were more color variations.

Definitely more than I wanted to spend and a little thicker than my REI joggers but they ’ re definitely worth the dough. I hope they don ’ t snag easily! I ’ m 5 ’ 5 124 lbs and the xs fit perfectly. For a more relaxed fit the small probably would ’ ve worked too.

I do n't like reviews that say `` love these '' or some such, since it tells me very little. So... I am 5' 2 and weigh 152 pounds. My inseam is usually 28 inches, no more than 29. I ordered the large and they were perfect in length, landing right at my ankles with a little sag for give in the knees, and for squatting. I have a bit of a straight waist that is short- the waist band is about a 2 inch band that did NOT roll over or down and did not bind so the waist was just right. Fit perfect in the hips, and I have a butt so they stretched without gapping or sagging down in the back. I washed them in warm water, rinsed in cold and hung them up to dry. Dried quickly. They were warm without being hot, did not bunch in the crotch, and I had on jeans over them. Worked outside on the farm and stayed cozy. Went back and bought two more pairs.

`` Heavyweight '' is a little misleading. The fabric is very thin and see- through. On their own, they do n't feel very warm, but worn under jeans or other pants as intended, they function very well. I forget I 'm even wearing them under jeans, and they keep me very warm on cold mornings. A good comfortable base layer. Got the M and they fit great. I 'm usually a 6- 8 in pant size.
