This water bottle is very well built. It keeps my water cold all day long and I appreciate the size of the 64 oz. I only have to refill once a day to stay pretty hydrated. Only concern is sometimes getting the second drinking cap off to fill up the bottle. If you take it off regularly you should be in good shape for opening pickle jars.

I use the hot water from my automatic espresso machine and throw in 8 tea bags( Celestial Seasonings- without the staple and paper tag) and let it soak for 10 minutes.
