I love this thing. It's a bit pricey for what it is, but it works well when used properly. All the kids on my team love to use it and seem to immediately transfer the swing action developed with this directly to live pitching. A team that hits to to bottom will be hard to stop! I do question the durability of this however. It does n't have a good sturdy feel to it. Hopefully it's deceptively strong because for this price I 'd like this trainer to last a couple years until the adult model is necessary.

It's a weight. Ca n't really screw it up unless you smash the bat off the backstop. My 11yr old put it on his bat, and now I 'm worried I 'll have to get a lawyer to prove he is n't on PEDs. This weight stays on very well. My only knock on it is how difficult it is to get on certain bats because of the knobs on certain bats. I typically leave it on just one bat, because it is to cumbersome to be taking off and on. I would not use this in a similar fashion to a donut.
