It's warm and comfy. Soft fleece, lots of zippers and pockets. Got the gray, the fleece is different from my other Denali's. The fleece is maybe softer than the usual Denali fleece. The fleece does shed, which I guess happens with the softer fleece. It is way more cropped than the older Denali as well. The name should say `` Cropped ''. I 'm considering sizing up to see if it will make any difference, but that means the sleeves will be much wider. I 'm not sure why the under arms are soooo huge maybe to decrease sweating hence the zippers under the arms. They should have two options for the Denali, one with a regular length and one cropped for women. This one is functional, but will rise up. I buy a new Denali every few years, this one is very different. The prices keep going up and the jackets and sweaters keep getting shorter.

If it ’s nice and snug, which is good because it ’s not too baggy, and also the water repellent fabric really helps for when you need it. I also love the two way zippers that it has, it makes it a really unique touch to what could normally be just a regular jacket. My favorite part of this jacket honestly has to be the pockets with how roomy they are and how waterproof they are. If there ’s anything I could change though, it would just be to make it a little bit baggier.

[ When the weather changed for our Portugal trip I needed a rain jacket fast! This jacket exceeded my expectations. It POURED rain on us and i stayed completely dry! The hood and extended visor prevented all rain from getting to my face and hair. I have waist length, super curly, thick hair and this hood kept it all in and dry! the length was perfect and prevented my lower body from getting wet. I sized up from a XL to a 2XL as I wanted room to layer and wear sweaters or sweatshirts underneath. The deep pockets were perfect for extra travel items! I got a whole water bottle inside one! The most important part is it dried of super fast and was ready for the next day of rain! It is packable and folds down to a super small size! I highly recommend this jacket. I was wearing this jacket when I had a horse riding accident. When I tell you I absolutely flew off the horse and slammed into the gravel- this jacket should have ripped immediately. Instead it actually ended up protecting my body from getting any cuts. I threw the jacket in the wash and it came out seamless as if nothing had happened to it. The fabric has a windbreaker feel to it, which can be a little noisy during a run, but I prefer it as protection against weather elements. The weather has not been cooperating for me to test this jacket out with long runs( spring, where are you?!) but I have taken a few short walks/runs while wearing it and absolutely love it. I was between either a medium or large( I 'm 5ft4in and 155 lbs for reference) and went with the large but I think a medium would work for me if I wanted less of an oversized look. I like the black/gray/reflective design, there's details you do n't even notice at first glance like the reflective `` Nike '' above one pocket. The fabric feels like it will be perfect protection from the chill of the wind on a sporting day! And I love the 2 way zipper and the spacious pockets!
