Excellent for winter to cut the wind and retain heat. Had multiple deer come within 30 yds and jacket noise did not alert them. Used as a top layer with layering( and heated vest, socks, and gloves all on lowest setting) during a 12( F) degree morning, never got cold and didn ’ t feel the wind. It does not have pockets, which helps with retaining heat and one less thing to leak down the road, but I use a small pack to carry in. I do suggest breaking it in a bit. Hope this helps, y ’ all stay dry and warm out there.

This is a great jacket. I first got one for my 10yr old and my 8yr old also loved it so I ended up purchasing a 2nd. My girls have other black jackets so I went with this color because it gave another option for clothing and is still very neutral. It is a great fall and spring coat. It is also great for the winter but not in those really freezing temps. The material is thicker than expected but not too thick, and the inside is super soft as well. It is a very well made and comfortable jacket.

If I were to change anything, I think it would be to have cuffs at the wrist instead of just a piece of elastic. Definitely not a deal breaker though. I got my normal size and it fits true. It ’s very lightweight and easy to pack and carry and would be really easy to stash away in a tote bag or tie around my waist if needed. The body has a nice loose look but the sleeves are a little long on me, but again, I don ’ t mind it. What really stands out to me are little details like the chest pocket which has a stylish little buckle strap as well as a black embroidered Nike logo. These features are functional but also add a cool unique touch.
