They wear well and stay put! I surfed and snorkled on the beaches and also sailed for a few days( lots of movements in lots of directions) and the top stayed put, I had no fear whatsoever. The straps are a little looser than I 'd like( and are not adjustable) but it's not too big a problem. Wished it had a little more support, but it's fine to swim in. I would n't try running in it though. I got the matching bottom and liked that as well.
