I bought 4 of these for my grandchildren to wear under their lacrosse gear. The size guide was spot on and the shirts did exactly what we wanted them to do which was to stop their shoulder and elbow pads from pinching them. The benefit we did not know was it kept those pads from shifting during play. The shirts do not hold body odour after washing and they dry quickly so can be washed in a hotel sink and hung up to dry. A detail I love is the cuff, it is only half pleated with elastic so it gives a feminine detail. The only thing that bothers me is the material is loud. I am a size 16 uk( 5ft6 and 12 stones) i reordered( returning the others) and out of 4 garments only 2 fitted with 1 being too smalll again, even though it was marked XL the same as the others( uk20- 22 which i am not incidentally). At the same time, I have worn it as an effective base layer for cooler temps, which can still arise suddenly in Colorado springs. It does not wear too baggy for the look, nor is it too tight at all. [ I have always worn tshirts, maybe a hoody in the gym but I 've always seen people wearing quarter zip long sleeve tops. Since trying this I know why. It's getting colde and a tshirt is n't enough, but I do n't want to wear a jacket. The Nike Dri- FIT Academy top is perfect for keeping warm but not getting hot. It's stretchy and breathable, and because it's Dri- FIT it dries quickly. The fit is great, not baggy but it's not skin tight either. The fabric is stretchy and moves with you, great for the gym. The design is nice and simple which I like. The only thing I would change is the colour, even though I like it, I 'd probably get black next time.
