Only once in a while does the waistband roll up; it might be prevented if the waistband was a little less wide/shorter. Otherwise they are very comfortable and great for any outdoor activity.

[ Nobody really specifically reviewed size so here: My size in jeans: ~31( Most) Sweats and athletic shorts: medium Hanes boxer briefs: medium Waist measured with a tape: ~34. 5 '' I ordered medium and they fit perfectly. Large would have definitely been too loose and smalls probably a bit tight but not uncomfortably, and would have just fit more like compression shorts. And they 're light, thin, breathable and stretchy. Ca n't attest to durability yet but construction seems solid, no loose threads, and the waistband is adequately thick. Overall very comfortable.

[ I got these for winter runs after some tech- fabric athletic underwear I had was causing some pretty bad chaffing. I 've put in about 35 miles with these and love them so far. I 'm also looking forward to using these on an upcoming ski trip, and I see no reason they wo n't be equally effective for that activity. Also, I generally struggle with itchiness when wearing wool items in direct contract with my skin, but have no issues with these.
