[ The Canopy Jacket fits small to size but has a comfortable, easy to move in feel. It layers well over a long sleeve without feeling bulky or restrictive. The fabric is extremely soft and lightweight, and it feels great while running. It doesn ’ t have that stiff or crinkly feel some jackets do. I really like the mesh pockets on the inside and the zippered outer pockets for keys or small items. The elastic at the wrists keeps the sleeves in place, which I appreciated. The hood offers good coverage from the elements, and the small visor is a nice touch. The vented back and breathable fabric help regulate temperature well on everyday runs. The Halogen Blue color looks great, and the subtle logo placement keeps it clean and low- key.

[ The canopy jacket is a perfect spring layer. Right out of the box, I really liked the feel of the jacket and it looked flattering when I put it on. I am typically a small and even though I am in my 3rd trimester, I was surprised to find that the jacket still fit due to elasticity in the material. It will be perfect when I get back to my typical size. The two zipping pockets are great to keep my keys secure on a run and big enough for a phone if I am wearing it more casually. The material also did a great job keeping me dry in a slight rain. I do n't believe the jacket is completely water- proof, but it is certainly water resistant, which I would n't have expected with how soft and non- plasticy the material feels. The trade off with jackets that keep water out is that they are not the most breathable, but the canopy jacket seems to have found a nice balance between the two. The vent in the back helped to let some of my body heat escape so that I did n't feel like I was trapped with heat and sweat. Overall, this is a piece that I will come back to often.

There are also strategically spaced silver reflective strips to make sure you ’ re seen on the road. I got this as a fun hiking jacket and I love the color so much it goes with so many of my outfits. But I will say that as I walk around the house with it and while I 'm hiking the elastic loop that you use to cinch in the bottom gets caught in door handles and in trees often which is kind of annoying. The vents on the back are pretty neat. The elastic on the cuff looks pretty cheap because the fabric is easier so you can see how thick the elastic is. Also the zipper looks funny when you cinch it up because the bottom of the zipper does n't get cinched obviously. Usually for crops jackets you can just talk this part upside down but because this one has a ruched pattern talking that part upside down causes the ruched parts to be hidden. Anyways still too cute for me to care. I found with the style of jacket you really need a size down because Free people is making it super oversized

Awesome Jacket! I do n't have anything like this in my wardrobe. I do n't usually gravitate towards full zip ups, but this one is amazing. I sized up to a medium so it would n't be tight on me. I love the thumb holes and the hood. There is a detail on the back, which gives it a little kick. The pockets are a mesh material, so be careful if you have actual keys/rings. Things may get stuck and could easily rip.
