I bought these today in the store. Let me re- phrase that, I bought TWO pairs today in the store. These are amazing and the price was right too. Very comfortable, very stretchy, great length( I ’ m 5 ’ 2 ”) and they don ’ t look super long( they ’ re long, but when you pull them up they don ’ t look like you have a bunch of extra material- the stretch helps with this), snug, well- made, and they better never get rid of these. I did not know Dick ’s came out with their own line. It was my first time in the store today in a long time due to the pandemic and I am so happy I saw these. They ’ re not thick, but not thin either. I forgot to do the squat test, so unfortunately, I can ’ t comment on that. Very basic. No creepy, weird lines, cutouts, or pockets. VERY nice thick elastic waist band which is probably what sold me the most. It will keep my fat hips in line and I won ’ t have to worry about pudge rolling over a thin waistband. Very slimming and flattering on. They do have a moderate slick shine to them. If you need a good pair of every day, comfortable leggings, get these. Perfect for the gym too! I ’ m 155lbs/size 8/10 and bought the large. The medium wasn ’ t that different, but I ’ m between sizes depending on designer- they ’ re just more snug. I decided to go for the large just because I plan on wearing them on lounge days as well.

I personally prefer pants without that annoying seam across my butt. These have a waistband that is higher up and stays up without rolling through a variety of workouts. They don ’ t have side seams and laundry beautiful.

I was able to wear this out shopping, traveling on a plane, but also, running and doing yoga. ... The fabric is of good quality and material to keep you warm but not so that you ’ ll be sweating heavily in activity if you were to wear it

[ Upon receiving this top, I first noticed it was very chic. I was able to wear this as athleisure with leggings, joggers, and sweatpants. The top is an oversized look, but it was still true to size. The fabric is DriFit which allows for sweat wicking. The design is stylish but also functional as performance wear and not too bulky. What I liked best about the top is the versatility it provided. I love wearing athletic clothing daily, but I am also very active. I was able to wear this out shopping, traveling on a plane, but also, running and doing yoga. One thing I would change is that the sleeves are a little long with no elastic at the ends to pull the sleeves up if needed.

[ The Nike DriFit Prima Future Move Top has easily become one of my fave wardrobe staples. The fabric is super soft, lightweight, and comfy; I love how it feels against my skin. The simple design is on point, as it allows for versatility in wear. There is a very tiny logo on the front bottom; the back is plain. I ’ ve worn this top after my workouts to run errands. The sleek neckline provides a nice added touch and so I ’ ve also worn this top during virtual work meetings as well. I would describe the fit as relaxed vs oversized. I am a true size medium and this top in a size medium fits me very relaxed in the body. It is a crop top; I always pair it with high waisted bottoms, and you can still see a tiny bit of my stomach area with movement. The arm area fits a bit oversized but not bulky. I absolutely love this top; I highly recommend!

[ I found this top extremely flattering and versatile while also lending a unique touch to any outfit. I styled it with jeans, leggings, and even sweatpants for some more fanciful athleisure. I really like the material, which is extremely soft while feeling extremely high quality. I found that the material had a lot of shape, but was not too rigid, which made it feel very durable without seeking bulky. I loved the mock neck detail, which also added a touch of style to the top, and the asymmetric `` front to back '' cut felt futuristic and innovative, like I was n't wearing just another crewneck but rather elevating my outfits. I have had mock neck collars before that were uncomfortable or scratchy, but this one felt so incredibly comfy due to the soft material. I am a very big fan of mixing different fashion styles while remaining comfortable, so this type of top was perfect as a way to incorporate streetwear in a way that made me feel more confident and like I was putting effort into my outfits. I think that the front crop is quite short, so I prefer wearing it with high waisted pants but that is a personal preference. In addition, I have relatively short arms( I am 5'2 '', so imagine a similar length wingspan) and the fact that the sleeves do n't taper in means that they reach about my mid- palm when my arms are down. This does not bother me except when I am cooking or doing dishes and just have to pay a little attention since it is n't ideal for rolling up one's sleeves. That said, this is definitely not a big issue for me, and I find that I really like the style of the sleeves being a little looser.

[ The Nike DriFit Prima Future Move Top really surprised me. When I received it, I did feel like it was a little big for a small on the sides, and that it may restrict mobility, but I was happy to find out that during my run and my training session it did not get in the way at all. It felt like I had nothing on me, it's very light in weight but very thick in fabric. The thick dri- fit helped wonders for sweating. I never felt wet or uncomfortable from the sweat, if anything I felt very fresh, like I could keep working out. The design is minimalistic, which I personally favor. Very little branding, other than the little swoosh on the back, which is also very nice detail. I was hesitant about the mock top neck, but found it unobtrusive, very much to my liking. The only thing I would change about the product would be the arm length, and it might just be me, but it was a little longer than I would want. I would have to roll the sleeves a bit for lifting and doing any arm exercises. An inch or two less and it would 've been a perfect product. I still would recommend it 100%. I had a great workout in it, it's comfortable, light, and I ca n't wait to keep using it more!

[ This holiday season has kept me pretty busy and out of the gym for a bit, but what a better way to get back in the game than with some fresh Nike gear?! I would like to start out by mentioning how much I love everything about this top. The name is suitable, as it truly moves with you. I love how it fits! The slightly high- low cut( more cropped in front, longer in the back) creates a nice silhouette that brings balance to a typical workout outfit/bottoms. The way it flows with your every movement is my favorite thing about this original piece. The mock neck detail feels so sleek and stylish( functional and versatile). I wore it while running errands and during an intense exercise class. At first glance, I wondered if it would feel a bit heavy to workout in, but Nike ’s Dri- FIT technology never misses. The fabric kept me dry and comfortable during high intensity training. I would love to see it in other colors, maybe a half zip or short sleeve for the warmer months. The only con is that the price point is a bit high, but I would say it is SO worth it!

When choosing dance athletic wear, consider the fit and flexibility of the fabric to ensure ease of movement during performances and practice. Look for moisture-wicking materials that help keep you dry and comfortable, especially during intense sessions. Additionally, pay attention to the style and design, as these can enhance your confidence and expression while dancing. Lastly, consider the specific type of dance you will be doing, as different styles may require different types of clothing for optimal performance.
The fit of dance athletic wear plays a crucial role in performance by allowing for a full range of motion and comfort during movement. Well-fitted garments can enhance flexibility, enabling dancers to execute their routines with ease. Additionally, the right fit helps to reduce distractions, allowing dancers to focus on their technique and expression. Overall, choosing the appropriate fit can contribute to a more enjoyable and effective dance experience.
Dance athletic wear is typically made from a variety of materials designed for comfort and flexibility. Common fabrics include polyester, spandex, and nylon, which provide stretch and breathability. Additionally, moisture-wicking materials are often used to help keep dancers dry during practice and performances. These materials are chosen to enhance movement while ensuring a comfortable fit.
Yes, there are specific styles of dance athletic wear designed to accommodate various types of dance. For example, leggings and high-rise pants are popular for styles like contemporary and jazz, providing flexibility and support. Leotards and fitted shorts are often favored in ballet and gymnastics for their streamlined fit. Each style is crafted from materials that allow for ease of movement, ensuring comfort during practice and performances.
Breathability is an essential feature in dance athletic wear, as it helps regulate body temperature and keeps dancers comfortable during movement. Fabrics that allow for airflow can prevent overheating and moisture buildup, which is particularly important during intense practice or performances. Additionally, breathable materials enhance overall flexibility and ease of movement, allowing dancers to focus on their technique and expression. Choosing dance apparel with good breathability can significantly enhance the overall experience and performance.
When selecting dance athletic wear, consider features that enhance comfort and flexibility. Look for materials that offer breathability and moisture-wicking properties to keep you cool during practice. Additionally, styles with a snug yet flexible fit, such as high-rise waistbands or compression designs, can provide support without restricting movement. Lastly, seams and construction should be smooth to prevent chafing while allowing for a full range of motion.
The durability of dance athletic wear can vary significantly based on the materials used in their construction. Fabrics like polyester and nylon are often chosen for their strength and resistance to wear, making them suitable for high-intensity movements. In contrast, cotton blends may offer comfort but can be less durable over time, especially with frequent washing and stretching. Additionally, materials with moisture-wicking properties can enhance longevity by reducing the impact of sweat and odor.
For warm weather, lightweight and breathable dance athletic wear is ideal. Look for options made from moisture-wicking materials that help keep you cool and comfortable during practice or performances. Styles such as shorts, tank tops, and crop tops are popular choices, as they allow for greater airflow and ease of movement. Additionally, consider high-rise options that provide support while maintaining a stylish look.
Yes, dance athletic wear is versatile and can be worn for various activities beyond dancing. Many pieces are designed for comfort and flexibility, making them suitable for workouts, yoga, or casual outings. The breathable materials and stylish designs also allow for easy layering and pairing with other clothing items for everyday wear. Whether you're at the gym or running errands, dance athletic wear can provide both functionality and style.
Compression dance athletic wear is designed to fit snugly against the body, providing support to muscles and potentially enhancing circulation during movement. This type of apparel often helps reduce muscle fatigue and can improve performance for some dancers. Non-compression options, on the other hand, typically offer a looser fit, allowing for greater freedom of movement and breathability, which can be more comfortable for casual wear or less intense activities. Choosing between the two often depends on personal preference and the specific demands of the dance style being practiced.
