I wear an` extra small in this but had to return other skirts and shorts I had ordered in the same size because they were too tight in the thighs. I also have the wrap- it- up skirt in a small, but for me the waistband gaps and the fit is a little tight through the thighs.

Due to pregnancy and birth, I have gained a bit and it was a bit snug trying to put it on- definitely had to shimmy my way in and a medium may have fit me better but I like the way it looks on so I plan to stick with the small.

I love this skort. I like the super deep pockets that can hold my enormous phone. I love the stretchy waist band with the tie, because I do need to cinch it tight to hold the skort up from the weight of my enormous phone:/ I am 5' 9 '', 160lbs and bought a large. I could have sized down, but because the short part is elastic, it fits fine and does n't look too baggy. My only very minor negative comment is that it can be a bit warm in hot weather because of the double fabric layer, but that's an issue with any skort.
