Fit and waterproofing is great on this. We went with the high visibility color for snow safety and it's gender neutral to be passed down. We had previously bought a patagoucci but returned it when we found this one! It's a better fit and a few better features too. These are the answer for babies with wide feet! I ordered new balance in xw for my 1 year old and we can still barely squeeze his foot in. They curl their toes when goes in traditional shoes which makes it hard to squeeze them in. These shoes are like socks, with lots of room for comfort and super easy to put on.
