For some insight, I 'm 5' 8 170 lbs, and I have a very curvy bottom half. It's difficult to find things that I can get into without feeling like my thighs are being cut off. Mind you that this is my first lap swimming suit, so I do n't have a ton of experience with these kinds of suits but... To start with I bought a size 12 in Hyper Blue and it was to long for my torso so I brought it back and got the size 10. Love the look. The blue is amazing. Did not like the hydro- bra. The elastic and shaping as well as the pads showed through the suit. I took out the pads and that was a little better but I still wasn ’ t satisfied. I also felt if wet it would take forever to dry. I ’ m used to thinly lined suits. So I started to cut out the bra portion of the suit. I ’ ve done this with other suits before. This was a mistake as the front lining does not cover behind the bra area. Hence the outlines showing through. Ooops. To late. So I had to finish. Unfortunately because the liner was sewn into the bra I had to remove it in its entirety and before I knew it I had taken out to much and didn ’ t leave anything in the crotch as well…ooops again. Anyhow I tried the suit back on now fully unlined and “ Oh my god ” the fabric feels amazingly good. I looked in the mirror and it looked good except it showed my nips a bit. I felt I could live with that. A small price to pay for it feeling so amazing. I went to the pool and it held up great but I was taken back a bit by a couple stares I received when exiting the pool until I realized it was a tad transparent. at least the lighter blue trim certainly was and the rest not quite as bad. Oops. In a way I ’ m still glad I removed the liner. Oh also note there was a bit of a camel issue as well. So if your feeling really conservative don ’ t remove the lining or at least leave something in the crotch area. Other than that buy two suits and try it with one. You won ’ t be sorry. Unlined the suit feels super sexy. And Dicks has it on sale for$ 64. 00. It ’s a steal. Sorry, I tried to load some pics but they would not take.

Because of sloping shoulders, most swim suits are uncomfortable for lap swimming. This one is perfect for lap swimming, I never have to stop or interrupt the stroke to pull up the straps or fuss with the upper portion to stay in place. Have owned these suits for many years. I swim at least 5 times a week, with nearly 3- 4 hrs. in water 3 days. Yet, these suits last at least 1- 2 years till they finally wear out at the seams. The lining is good enough to not make it see- through, especially the darker colors. The colors barely fade. Fit is a little tight to start with but loosens eventually. The price is fantastic for a polyester swimsuit!

I 'm 5' 4 '', 113 pounds, and ordered size 36. It's a great fit, although it could be a little tighter in the body- I have a somewhat short torso. But I do n't know if a 34 would fit as well. The material is a bit heavier than the typical swim suit. Maybe it 'll hold up longer to the chlorine.

I am a middle- aged woman who loves to swim.( Specs: 51 years old, 5' 5 '', 135 lbs; medium- sized jammers; whatever excess weight I have is all located on my derriere.) These Dolfin Jammer shorts are ideal. They hug the body and create no drag in the water. They are extremely comfortable and do not pinch or bind anywhere. In fact, these shorts are so comfortable, they 're barely noticeable, either in the water or when wearing them to the pool under clothing. They are easy to take on and off. They are figure- flattering( particularly for those women whose thighs are not as toned as they once were), in part because the shorts descend to about 3- 4 inches above the knee. Because I 've been swimming in my Dolfin jammers for only about two months, I can not say with great certainty that they 're durable, although, so far, they give every indication that they are.( Post- swimming, I always soak them in a pail of water and Woolite.) My only complaint is that the elastic twists a bit in the waistband, and so I must flattened out the elastic band as the shorts are drying( happily, only once per drying session). Overall, I am extremely happy with my Dolfin shorts and plan to buy this product for years to come, as long as Dick's keeps selling them. I wear these shorts with takini tops. I am happier with these shorts than with the Dolfin one- piece suit, which pulls on the shoulders and which flattens the bust completely.

This is for those who are looking for shorts that do n't ride up on the legs. These Jammers go down the leg to about three inches above the knee. They have a close fit but are not tight. they are true to size. They feature a wide waist band that holds well. The material is not as soft as some of the other items by Dolfin. It seems thinner as well. The only real problem with them is that they have a large, stiff, tag on the backside that can cause irritation.
