I bought a pair a few years ago for general exercise and discovered they are excellent for cool/cold weather mountain biking( and cycling in general). The tapered leg and ankle cuff keep the pants safely out of the bike chain. They dry fast, are stretchy and have zippered pockets. I bought a size medium and small to compare. I ultimately selected the small which initially felt too small, but turned out just right for a slim fit. I am about 5' 8 '' with a 30 '' inseam and weigh about 155 lbs.

I 'm usually a large men's and a medium fit me perfectly and very loose which is what I wanted. I needed substantial weight and space for my workouts- I noticed shoulders were getting tighter on my other shirts and this gave me space to breathe. If you have wide hips or a belly the cut is generous and wo n't hug down low either. Breathes well even in hot weather( i do n't get overheated while wearing it) but this is not a performance shirt so if you need the best I 'd recommend a thinner fabric. 10/10- I bought 3 and immediately bought 2 more.
