Thanks to all comments on this product. Made it easy to purchase for my step son who is in a basket ball program in middle school. As he was not comfortable in a jockstrap in front of his team mates. [ Nobody really specifically reviewed size so here: My size in jeans: ~31( Most) Sweats and athletic shorts: medium Hanes boxer briefs: medium Waist measured with a tape: ~34. 5 '' I ordered medium and they fit perfectly. Large would have definitely been too loose and smalls probably a bit tight but not uncomfortably, and would have just fit more like compression shorts. And they 're light, thin, breathable and stretchy. Ca n't attest to durability yet but construction seems solid, no loose threads, and the waistband is adequately thick. Overall very comfortable.
