I like the way these pants fit with the taper. They can be dressed up for casual or be worn as activewear depending on what you wear with them. They are the only plain and simple jogger- style black pants I have found in women's sizing for officiating. They are n't baggy. They are tapered but without a cuff or notch so the bottom looks clean. They have regular front and back pockets with no extra seams or decoration. They have no belt loops and the waist tie can be inside and unseen. I 'm 5' 6 and the length works for me because they are meant to be a little shorter so they are n't bunching at the bottom like some pants are for me. I bought 2 pair because it was so hard to find a basic pant like this. I hope they hold up after multiple washings, So far it has been fine. I wish they were a little cheaper or went on sale, but as much as I have worn them, I felt it was worth it.

Great improvements from last year. I liked the trail sender shorts from last year and these improve on the previous version in several ways. First, the best thing about the previous version is the ultra lightweight ripstop fabric and how well it performs in hot weather- the only comparable pants I ’ ve found in weight are the Patagonia Terrebonne joggers, and these are somehow feel even cooler in hot( 90+ F) humid weather. The new 2024 version feels like it has the same fit, but improves on some annoyances from last year: 1. The waistband is slightly elastic, which is more comfortable from previous near 0 stretch 2. The pockets are deeper and the zip pocket has been moved from the front thigh to the side hip. This is a big improvement where your phone no longer barely fits in the pocket or runs up against your hipbone when sitting 3. The construction feels higher quality and more premium. I wore these pants 32 days straight while walking the Camino Frances in Spain. They were terrific. East to hand wash at night yet be dry in the morning. Lightweight for hot Spanish sunshine yet keeping me warm in the morning. Easy to zip off when your exertions make you sweaty. I did n't even bother alternating with the joggers from another brand, which quickly became my pajama bottoms for cold nights.
