I absolutely adore the Rain Defender exterior fabric. Will Rain Defender keep me dry in a cloud burst rain storm? Nope! However I am often required to work outside when it is heavily misting, snowing and sleeting. I have a number of shirts and jackets with a sherpa lining. I tried another brand ’s sweater on in a store to compare as it was much cheaper, but it looked cheaper too…it looked like I was wearing a garbage bag in comparison. Fjallraven ’s sits so nicely, and I ’ ll definitely be getting another colour of this style. Maybe the price will put people off, but you are buying quality.

This is one of those rare finds that checks every box: comfort, style, and quality. I ’ m 6 ’ 2 ” and the sleeve length is just right, which can be hard to find. The fit overall is spot on — not too tight, not too loose. The fabric feels great — super soft and comfortable — and the color looks even better in person. I could wear this all day, no problem. The moisture wicking keeps it from sticking to you once perspiring and you get nice air flow through the material while running or a breezy day. There really wasn ’ t anything we disliked about the crew other than the tag on the back of the sweatshirt. It ’s made out of bungee cord material and they tend to rip easily.
