Love this jacket. I was worried about the reports that it's `` short '' I 'm 5' 9 '' with a longer torso and short legs( 30- 32 inseam) and the jacket came to just below my belt line. [ Just be aware that it is not spill proof when the drinking lid is used. The 'cold' and 'hot' lids are liquid tight and will keep cold things cold and hot things hot. Also a can of beer or soda will also fit so you can keep a drink cold and crack it open on the hike out. Fit and finish is high like all Snow Peak products.

[ Bought this because I love Snow Peak. Love that this product is made in Japan( not all of their products are). Nice and lightweight. But that could be a negative in terms of durability which I worry about- the walls are thin, you can see them move when you squeeze it. The lid tends to make a weird squeak/squeal/screech when screwing on and off unless you take your time and do it slowly. I ’ ve never had a bottle do that before. The thin walls make it slightly uncomfortable to drink from without a lid( almost sharp but I wouldn ’ t go that far)( although full disclosure, the directions say not to drink from it without a lid because you might spill on yourself!). Cool that you can fit a can in there. Diameter is 2& 15/16ths inches so it might not fit smaller cup holders. Note the drinking lid isn ’ t spillproof but it doesn ’ t claim to be. Not the best thermos out there but decent. Similar to others in terms of heat retention- just fine.

Absolutely killer jacket. Bought it to use for teaching a backpacking class in the late fall in high mountains of Idaho where it can get pretty cold pretty quick. Used it in- 10f weather with a baselayer underneath and shell on top and stayed toasty the whole time. Provides an honestly impressive amount of wind resistance even on the seams. A lot of people claim durability issues but I 've used it climbing, backpacking, and bikepacking for about two years now and it's done amazingly. Well done Mountain Hardwear!
