The “ short ” aspect is nice for those of us that are a little wider and thicker, but not necessarily taller. The shoulders and chest fit like your traditional sweater, but the overall length of the sweater and the length of the sleeves are shorter. I can ’ t tell you how much shorter, but in the picture I ’ m wearing a large and the sleeves are just a tad bit longer than a medium( because I have the traditional fit in a medium as well). The material of the fabric is top notch. It didn ’ t shrink in the wash and maintained its softness. I don ’ t think it ’s made to wear in extremely cold weather but it would be a good pick up for the fall or early spring. The fit of the sweater is a bit oversized and it wears like a box tee. It ’s more square in the hips than it is long. The sleeve length is also just perfect. My wife keeps stealing it because it ’s just so comfy.
