I had the `` suitcase '' zip one already, but prefer the top zip. Love the interior pockets, helps with security. Also more padding. Wish there were a strap for the chest though. Held a lot for me when I overbought on a trip!

I took this Del Dia on a recent two- week travel through Turkey, and honestly found it to be one of the most reliable daypacks I ’ ve ever used. It came with all the standard design features found in the most popular, and even more expensive daypacks, but it stood out with its uniquely colorful design and branding. I lost track of how many times I was asked “ Where did you get that pack from? ” or “ Who is Cotopaxi and that llama logo? ” or “ I guess you won ’ t lose that, huh? ” This guy easily flattened down and fit inside my carry- on, 37L luggage. The double zippers on each compartment made it a breeze to quickly access any items I needed every day. All the zippers rolled smoothly, and the two smaller mesh inner pockets proved invaluable to hold gum, pens, lip balm, tickets, kleenex, keys, hand- sanitizer and even coins and paper money. At various times the medium pouch held my small purchases, travel journal, USB cords, glasses cases, and travel guide, among other items. The largest inner compartment easily held catalogs, my computer, compressible jacket, souvenirs and occasionally, my 35 mm camera. It probably would ’ ve fit one of the many cats I wanted to bring home! Although the weight of the pack grew over time with my stuff, the adjustable shoulder straps fit my torso to perfection, providing plenty of support, particularly where the pack rested on my lumbar region( for reference, I ’ m 5 ’ 8 ” and weigh 165). Harry Potter and Hermione couldn ’ t have done a better job designing this. I agree with the other ratings — the versatility of the Del Dia allows it to be readily used for day trips, work or school. For the price, plus the option to choose your own unique color, this bag stands out among all the others in its class. Would I add anything? In an ideal world, it would have an additional strap on the back to slide over a luggage handle. For long- term durability, perhaps a double layer of nylon or a tougher material added to the bottom edge. Like all packs, this one will make you sweat some in warmer climates, but that ’s just part of moving around. Incidentally, none of these are short- comings. I really look forward to using this pack over many, many years of travel and leisure.

This is my favorite backpack, and trust me- I have many. It is so comfortable, has just the right pockets, and fits everything I need. Not to mention the colors. Love it
