This coat worked perfectly for me, keeping me dry, warm, and relatively protected from the wind( with the hood), too. This is a nice piece of clothing. It fits well and is soft, and it's comfortable. I love that the sleeves have thumb holes and cover most of my hands. My only small giggle is I wish there was some way to secure the hood. In my size it's a bit over large and I find it sliding off my head backwards quite often. Even considering that it's still a five star purchase!
