[ So I have a supremely difficult time finding pants of any kind. I 'm short( 5' 3 '') and pear- shaped; wide hips and a big butt. When I bump into counters or chairs, I surprise myself. If you 're like me, it's a particular kind of misery. And if you 're like me, when you try on a pair of pants that fit you, and do n't slide down giving you saggy crotch, you want every color and maybe back ups. For me, this is that pair of snow pants. These feel great, look great, and I 'm so glad I got them. They 're very thin, so definitely for the warmer days. The Columbia's recommended size for me was M short, but short was unavailable. I 've also been duped by the auto- size recommendations, so I bought these in both M regular and L regular. The M's were tight on my butt, but the L's were comically large. Like there was no- point- in- zipping- them- huge. I 'm keeping the mediums, and will continue to dream of dropping a pound. They are a bit tight in the upper leg joint area when I sit or lift my leg up, but it's not that big of a deal. I 'm not rock- climbing or doing yoga in these things. I LOVE the adjustable waist, omg, what brilliance. That may sell these alone! The length is a bit long for me, but with boots on, I do n't think that will matter too much. I was surprised that the elastic around the ankles was so loose, but maybe that's how they 're supposed to be to fit around boots... just seemed too loose. Overall, great pants.

These are great ski pants except for the length. I always buy “ short ” length in Columbia hiking pants and ski pants, I ’ m 5 ’ 3 ”. I was skeptical when I read short was a 31. 5 inseam( all the other short pants list between 28- 30in inseam), but thought over a ski boot it would work. Unfortunately, they are way too long! I was very wary to buy these seeing the poor reviews, but by using the Obermeyer Size chart from their site, my measurements to size fit perfectly... and I have THICK thighs! I ordered both 10 and 12 just in case, but the 10 fit best. They are warm, insulated, the zippers are high quality and they have a very handy velcro cinch at the back to tighten just right. I am 5 ’ 5 ”- 155lbs and loose measurements are Waist 29 ”& Hip 41 ”. Because my thighs were my highest concern, and are for many ladies, they are each 24. 5 ” around. Size 10 fit comfortably. See pics! Only drawback is I wanted to match my new Obermeyer Cosima Jacket in Varsity Blue. The color is close but not a true match, see last photo.

These pants are so cute, fit great, and true to size. USE OBERMEYER ’ S SIZE CHART and take your measurements. I did after a lot of inner debate and the size 10 fits really well! I am 5 ’ 5 ” and 155lbs. Measurements are 29 ” waist, 41 ” hips, 29 ” inseam and because I was mostly worried about these pants fitting my thick thighs, they are each 24. 5 ” around. I am surprised by how well these fit and have never had such flattering ski pants. The fabric has elasticity so it hugs my curves without feeling tight. I paired with the Cosima Jacket in Varsity Blue, perfect match. All the materials seem to be good quality. Strong zippers& fasteners. They are not insulated but are fully lined with fleece. As intended, they are a sporty sleek fit unlike insulated snow pants. They felt warm but will have to test on mtn!

The four stars because the Wrought Iron on the website and looks like a khaki color when in fact it is a light green sage. I wanted khaki. I still like the pant but who names a pant Wrought Iron when it should of been called Sage?

These are the best non Gore- Tex pants ive ever had, which is a lot. Im 6' 1 '' and the L fits well, just a little baggy, but not dragging or interfering with my bindings. The only thing i dont love is the chest velcro, a zipper would be appropriate. No lace clip on the powder cuff, no back clasp hook. Love these pants. P

Really enjoyed this outer shell jacket for snowboarding in Utah. I used a different jacket underneath for insulation and warmth, worked well without it being uncomfortable. I ’ m 6 ’ 2 ” and the length and size fit just right, the sleeves aren ’ t short or pulled up when raising my arms. The neatest thing about this, and if you have the Firefall pants/bib, is that there ’s a hook inside the jacket near your tailbone. That hook attaches to a loop that ’s affixed to the pants/bib so that the jacket doesn ’ t rise up if you should fall and down the slope while skiing/snowboarding.

Perfection! I 've been on the search for a down pant that is n't made for 5' 9 guys that are 250lbs. No offense to you fellas but us long legged guys seem to get left out in the cold( pun kinda intended) when it comes to length. Mountain Hardware knocked this out of the park all around. I absolutely positively love these pants. I am 511, weigh 180 and waist 33 inch. Mediums fit great. They keep me warm with temps down to teens with just a very light base layer underneath. Yet light enough that I can wear them with temps in the 60s and not feel overheated. Very comfortable. Great pockets. I own two pair, black and camo, and bought my daughter a pair of this past Christmas. I don ’ t need another pair, but good grief they ’ re on sale again in a color I don ’ t have. 🙄
