I ask for duofold wool and cotton combos, but they are impossible top find anymore. Ny wife gave me two pairs of the Platinum II Pants from ColdPruf for Christmas. They have the same insulation value as the duofold but are less bulky, and much more comfortable due to the merino wool. I like these better than my underarmor, too, easier on and off. Kudos for a fine product.

[ So I have a supremely difficult time finding pants of any kind. I 'm short( 5' 3 '') and pear- shaped; wide hips and a big butt. When I bump into counters or chairs, I surprise myself. If you 're like me, it's a particular kind of misery. And if you 're like me, when you try on a pair of pants that fit you, and do n't slide down giving you saggy crotch, you want every color and maybe back ups. For me, this is that pair of snow pants. These feel great, look great, and I 'm so glad I got them. They 're very thin, so definitely for the warmer days. The Columbia's recommended size for me was M short, but short was unavailable. I 've also been duped by the auto- size recommendations, so I bought these in both M regular and L regular. The M's were tight on my butt, but the L's were comically large. Like there was no- point- in- zipping- them- huge. I 'm keeping the mediums, and will continue to dream of dropping a pound. They are a bit tight in the upper leg joint area when I sit or lift my leg up, but it's not that big of a deal. I 'm not rock- climbing or doing yoga in these things. I LOVE the adjustable waist, omg, what brilliance. That may sell these alone! The length is a bit long for me, but with boots on, I do n't think that will matter too much. I was surprised that the elastic around the ankles was so loose, but maybe that's how they 're supposed to be to fit around boots... just seemed too loose. Overall, great pants.

But not any kind of love, we 're talking about the feeling of falling in love with steezing a mountain in some crazy pow... Or maybe.. It's just the feeling of steezing itself. These snow bibs have made me seriously begin to question why I have n't been steezing for longer. Steezing mountains, villages, cities, etc... I 'm 25 now and for the first time I feel like I can steez down an empire. I could take down Joffrey Lannister with a single swing of the ski pole. I could take out Khaleesi and her dragons with one swift snow blinding stop, I could defeat the entire Ramsay army by walking into the castle and demanding a surrender. The point is, you can do whatever you want in these bibs. Except for tinkle, tinkling is tough but what would you expect in a bib. The zipper will suffice, but be careful on cold days... you might lose it. Anyways, incredible bibs here that are going to last me quite a long time.

These are great ski pants except for the length. I always buy “ short ” length in Columbia hiking pants and ski pants, I ’ m 5 ’ 3 ”. I was skeptical when I read short was a 31. 5 inseam( all the other short pants list between 28- 30in inseam), but thought over a ski boot it would work. Unfortunately, they are way too long! I was very wary to buy these seeing the poor reviews, but by using the Obermeyer Size chart from their site, my measurements to size fit perfectly... and I have THICK thighs! I ordered both 10 and 12 just in case, but the 10 fit best. They are warm, insulated, the zippers are high quality and they have a very handy velcro cinch at the back to tighten just right. I am 5 ’ 5 ”- 155lbs and loose measurements are Waist 29 ”& Hip 41 ”. Because my thighs were my highest concern, and are for many ladies, they are each 24. 5 ” around. Size 10 fit comfortably. See pics! Only drawback is I wanted to match my new Obermeyer Cosima Jacket in Varsity Blue. The color is close but not a true match, see last photo.

These pants are so cute, fit great, and true to size. USE OBERMEYER ’ S SIZE CHART and take your measurements. I did after a lot of inner debate and the size 10 fits really well! I am 5 ’ 5 ” and 155lbs. Measurements are 29 ” waist, 41 ” hips, 29 ” inseam and because I was mostly worried about these pants fitting my thick thighs, they are each 24. 5 ” around. I am surprised by how well these fit and have never had such flattering ski pants. The fabric has elasticity so it hugs my curves without feeling tight. I paired with the Cosima Jacket in Varsity Blue, perfect match. All the materials seem to be good quality. Strong zippers& fasteners. They are not insulated but are fully lined with fleece. I have worn these bibs snowboarding three times now and love them! I do n't have to worry about pulling my pants up or getting snow in my pants while strapping my snowboard on and it's such a relief! They are comfortable and have adjustable straps and are just all around awesome, especially for the very reasonable price! Note: they seem to fit a little on the tighter side of the size( I have a medium) so if you like baggier bibs I would suggest going up a size.
