Very well made flannel. It feels like thick vintage flannel from your Dad. Thinker than North Face Arroyo flannels. Reading other reviews, the size recommendations are all over the place… stick true to size. I am 6 ’ 0 ”, 170 lb with long armed canoeing/running build and bought a large in this( and wear a large across North Face and other brands of flannels). This Valley Twill fits very similar to the North Face Arroyo flannel… except this Valley Twill is about 1 ” shorter in the body. Compared to other flannels that I own this is slightly shorter in body… but everything else accurate. The Pike ’s Purple flannel color looks great and was half- off on Dick ’s website. Great value for thick flannel. Recommended.

The quality of the material is excellent and washes really well, not losing its shape/ fit( it has been through 3 washes at time of washing). I really like the design which is simplistic yet striking using a smart design for the Nike logo. She loves how it ’s thin enough to use when exercising but still warm and comfortable when you ’ re not. It ’s also been good for wearing as an extra layer if needed in the warmer months. At first the inside, while soft, was somewhat scratchy at first, but after being worn for a short amount of time it gets more plush and continues to do so with more wear.
