So yeah, full disclosure and as I alluded to in the title, I bought this as a Christmas gift for my brother. I was just hoping that it was the nicest hoodie Nike made, and between him being thrilled with it, and my evaluation of it when I got it in the mail, that may very well be true. He wore it to the gym the day after Christmas, and sent me a text thanking me again. The material felt super nice and well constructed. Is it worth the full$ 120? Maybe not, but I had a coupon and a reward that brought it down a decent bit, and I felt it was then worth it. [ I received the SaunaTek Women ’s Hooded Jacket in size medium( for reference I usually wear a medium in tops). I am 5 ’ 5 ” 140 pounds and this jacket fits snug but not uncomfortably tight. I like the form fitting material which is made from Neoprene and Polyester. It is soft, flexible and very durable. It has a zip up front, pull stringed hood and side pockets. I also like the bright orange on the back and reflective strips throughout so I can exercise safely at night. This hooded coat surprisingly keeps you nice and warm during workouts, even during cold temperatures. It helps to increase your core temperature which aids in helping you lose excess water weight while burning extra calories. I thought it was really unique to use the Microban technology in this jacket which helps prevent odor causing bacteria from forming. So far I have exercised indoors and outdoors with this on and I really enjoy wearing it. I would like to eventually get the pants from this brand to match. Overall, I think this is an excellent workout jacket. It ’s stylish, comfortable and keeps your muscles warm during a workout. I would definitely recommend this brand!

This jacket is exactly what I needed for Colorado's winter. Keeps me very warm without any layering though with layering warmth will obviously be increased. I would totally recommend if you are into snow sports or like being toasty during winter. Being able to pack this jacket up is another plus for me so it's always convenient to either leave in the drawer when stowed or have it hung up on the coat rack. This is the jacket I will reach for when the temps drop around the 30s.

As a South Florida resident for the past 48 years, I do n't find myself needing a heavy winter coat often. But this year, we were traveling to NY in early February, so my layered sweaters and sweatshirts were not going to cut it. I had an old( 15 years,...) winter ski jacket, that must have weighed 20 pounds, not ideal for travel. I asked around and was told Northface is the way to go for a lightweight winter jacket, for extreme temps. I went online, looked at the various styles and colors, and went with the Terra Peak Hoodie. I could not believe how light it was, and could not understand how this could keep me warm. Well, I soon found out what a great purchase I had made. Temperatures were in the 20's with strong winds, and I was toasty as can be. The hood is perfect for keeping the wind out and I quickly realized that I did not need to wear various layers underneath, becasue the jacket kept me warm. Additionally, it is so light and compact for travel, I was able to stick it in my carry- on bag with no problem. We are going to Iceland later in the year, and I am ready!
