I purchased the grey Latitude hat in March 2019. It has traveled in my suitcase to multiple places over the years, and washing machine cycles, and it still has its shape. Since I started having children in 2019 it gets worn when I am outside no matter what. Most sun hats I have purchased fade from the constant sun exposure, but not the grey one. I got this hat because the brim is slightly smaller than my full on sun hat, so it ’s not as awkward to wear in the car or indoors, but still provides a good amount of sun protection. Great hat……but…. Just finished a Rick Steves Ireland tour. Wore it a ton. Everyone wanted to know where I got my bucket hat. I told them, but said, don ’ t get too excited because the color selection is poor. Sadly, colors are same as when I bought mine. Many tourists were wearing various bucket hats- they are clearly popular. Sunday Afternoon should come out with many colors! Eggplant purple, a dark emerald, navy, maybe a lovely shade of sage, etc.. not pink or lavender! AND, make the hat in men ’s, too, if they haven ’ t already. I love boonie hats, but the Sport Hat can keep out all angles of sunlight. It is feathery light on your head, but it is still rugged. This is my third one as others finally wore out or got damaged. This hat will stay in place in a strong wind if you cinch down the chin strap. I wear it kayaking on big expanses of water with no wind break. The L/XL hat fit me well. This hat is cool because it has a brim for sun protection but it's not huge and floppy. Size up for a bit more brim, or down for a more compact brim. Bought this one to replace old one that was blue and has traveled around the world with me. Love how light and compact it can be when not wearing it and how you can expand it for wearing to keep sun off your face and neck. Only reason I have to replace old one after 12+ years is because of the metal in the outer part finally snapped in few spots. So outer part does not hold shape as well especially in wind. Mind you I washed it with similar color clothes probably once or wove a year( which might not have been recommended) and would fold it over twice to fit in top of back back on travel days in airports and buses. I ’ m just happy I still had tag on old hat to find company to buy this new one. The old one I will still wear around house doing yard work. Needless to say after buying several different hats this if my favorite one for spring, summer, and fall. Thank you for this wonderful design that stands up to my abuse and keeps looking great.

Hat is very useful. I have used for desert hiking in Arizona/utah and while hiking the 500 mile Camino Frances across Spain in late summer heat. I obtained my hat in a bit different way, it washed up on our beach. Someone on a boat is missing it greatly. I had been wearing Tiiley hats but I like this one much better. The brim is stiffer which is a great benefit out sailing on breezy days. The adjustable band allows fitting the hat perfectly. The narrower venting along the top keeps it cool while keeping the sun out. And the material holds up very well.
